I have been very impressed with my son’s experience at Acton Academy. I have seen his school related anxiety greatly reduced due to the flexibility of their unique approach to learning. Each student is valued as an individual, with perspectives that are heard and respected. Decision making is a collaborative process, allowing the students to feel
a sense or responsibility and ownership over their education. My son has been given the encouragement and resources to pursue areas of particular interest to him. He has been made to feel that he has important gifts to contribute to the world. I think that is the greatest possible source of motivation for learning, and I appreciate that Acton has provided an environment in which confidence can grow.
