Review: My visit to Alabama Firearms Academy Gun Range was nothing short of excellent. The owner, Devon, truly sets the standard for customer service. He's not just friendly; he's incredibly knowledgeable and goes out of his way to ensure every visitor feels comfortable and informed. The facility itself is impressive: clean, well-maintained, and designed with the customer's experience in mind. I wasn’t surprised when I heard that the state of the art facility was ranked one of the highest in the nation in terms of facility design. Whether you're a seasoned shooter or a first-timer, this place has something for everyone. I can't recommend Alabama Firearms Academy enough for a safe and enjoyable shooting experience.

So I went by there today to see what it was and was blown away at how nice and modern the store was. The employees were top notch and friendly. The indoor range was clean with modern camera system that allowed you to mark your impact points on the target without having to bring the target itself back to you. They have everything you need in the store, Ammunition, pistols, shotgun, rifles, ARs both pistol and standard. They have rentals if you want to test out a full auto. If you want to build your own AR they can sell you the parts and teach you how to assemble it yourself and that’s awesome by itself. They have a VIP area if you just want to enjoy a game on TV. The place is definitely a upgrade to Marshall county.

By far the nicest gun range we’ve ever been to. I think it’s the Apple store of shooting ranges. And the staff felt more like friends than employees.

On my first trip to the firearms academy, I had the pleasure of training with Jessie. From the moment I began the training, it was clear that she possessed a wealth of knowledge and a passion for sharing it with others. What I loved most about her approach however, was her ability to build confidence in yourself. She recognizes each individual's strengths and areas for improvement, offering personalized feedback and encouragement to help you reach your full potential. Under her guidance, I not only gained the knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate a firearm but also developed a newfound sense of confidence in my abilities. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking comprehensive firearms training coupled with unwavering support and encouragement.

Had a great ladies beginner class. Very informative and helpful. Made me feel so much more comfortable and confident with a firearm! The staff is great and helpful. Definitely worth it! I was nervous going in but they are so helpful and make your time learning easy.

I had shot rifles and handguns with the watchful eye of my Dad all my life but haven't shot a gun in many years. I just recently bought a handgun for self-defense and since he had passed on, I had nobody to give me guidance on my new gun or show me how to shoot it. The staff at the Academy was very attentive, patient and understanding to my need to protect myself. They gave me information on my gun and guided me on how to safely shoot it, answering all my questions. What a relief! The indoor range is wonderful, state of the art facility, and their huge selection of ammo and shooting supplies was beyond what I expected. I feel comfortable now shooting my handgun and it was so easy to walk in as a newby and shoot. I enjoyed it so much! They have great classes available especially for women and will even teach me how to clean my gun or they will clean it very reasonably. This range is so much better then that old mound of dirt my Dad took me to and I completely recommend them. You won't be disappointed.
