Warning!! This is not a Veteran friendly business! Here’s my experience with Alabama Firearm Academy (AKA) Jered’s Guns. I am 70, Vietnam Veteran and disabled from 19 back surgeries, and I like to shop in my community trying to support local businesses.
In mid March I went to a local gun shop then known as (Jared’s Guns) to make a purchase of a small pistol for my granddaughter college graduating gift. I already knew what I wanted and explained it in detail what I wanted. He got on his computer and read off the information, just what I wanted. I paid $350. for it right then, trusting this business. When it came in it was not at all what I ordered, it didn’t come with two cylinders, it was a cheaper model. Bringing it to their attention, first I was told the company messed up and sent a more expensive model but it wasn’t what I ordered! Then I was told the one I wanted has gone to $400. So I asked for a refund and I would go Shotgun Sports to get it. Then he offered to get me another cylinder like I had wanted, so I was willing to compromise and agreed. When I went to pick up the cylinder I was shocked, it was a well used cylinder that was extremely dirty and would not fit the pistol. I’m not giving a gift that is used to my granddaughter! Again I asked for a refund to which he relied that only Jared (owner) could give refunds.
It is now mid June and after several calls, several times stopping by and repeatedly leaving my phone number for a return call, i still have a gun I don’t want and they fully acknowledge the situation of not getting what I ordered, but refusing to right a wrong and now I'm brush away.
This is all true! So watch this this gun shop!

Went in this Saturday with my daughter to buy her a handgun she wanted for Christmas that my son was telling us about. She liked it. But They missed a sale because the guy that was running the place at the time(which wasn't Jared) wasn't very interested in helping us Ladies. Acted like He wasn't interested in answering all my daughter's questions. He was helping all the guys in the place. Even the males that came in after us!! Maybe if you're a man you might get service. But Ladies...I would go elsewhere. We did.

I've been buying firearms and gear for 20+ years and I'm always immediately greeted and helped. Jared runs a very nice shop.. I will Definantly be back. When I can't make it to the shop I give them a call with questions and they don't put me on hold, they take the time to look up the info I need and I get my answer, if they can't locate what I need, they call me back within a few days. There is not one single firearms store in a 200 mile radius that does that except Jseeds Tactical and Firearms. Check them out.

This prices are fair.. it's always cheaper online that's not the point .. having a good guy you can count on the guy give me a good deal on a part for my AR and put it on for me for free with a good attitude what more can you ask for.. I believe in keeping
