Micah is Truly an amazing instructor and human being. He is patient and focused when he teaches class. I especially enjoy how he teaches my children. They have learned so much in the amount of time we’ve known him. If you go to Alafia Capoeira, you are guaranteed to have a great time. I have never felt so good after training so hard. We train for two hours and I am ready for more. I’m always bummed when class ends. The good thing is, he is open every day of the week! What also is great is that I am learning music and Brazilian Portuguese along the way. I am 48 years old and I have never been in such great shape in my entire life!

We looked for a capoeira teacher for long time, Micah was just better than expected. Great teacher, very patient, súper fun class. He teaches everything, exercises, beautiful movements but also music, instruments and lyrics. If you want to learn real capoeira, go look for him, he has a beautiful place to teach also!

When I go to train at Alafia Capoeira I know I’m going to get my sweat on, and feel rejuvenated after from the dynamic exercise and musicianship of the martial art. I have accomplished and engaged in many different skills and feats since the opening, and feel like I’ve grown as a person and martial artists with the consistent training.
