Everything is amazing at this school so far !! All my teachers are nice and respectful to me and my classmates! Mr.Peak is an nice person who will greet me everyday by the gate, The lady who works at the office maybe a little strict sometimes but everything else is amazing !

Absolutely horrible! I would rate this ZERO STARS! The teachers are so not helpful and just plain rude. They need to raise their education level instead of stuffing themselves! The teachers do not care about the students at all and all that magnet program is crap. I've worked inside not the office as a teachers assistant and they do nothing but talk on their phones and gossip instead of LISTENING TO THEIR STUDENTS! Students are very ghetto and rude, teachers can't teach for anything. This school is the worst I've ever been to. If you want your child to be bullied, picked on, or discriminated against then send them here! They literally do not care about your child and it shows because they are EXTREMELY LAZY when it comes to teaching. They shove paper into their faces and expect them to learn. Thank you Fleming for nothing. Waste of time and waste of a school. I hope the district shuts you down.

it's a really good school. the teachers want you to succeed, and will help you towards that goal. the honors program is amazing believe me.
sixth grade mr.schmidt and ms.lee were awesome
seventh grade mr.east mr.gerlach and mr.espinoza were cool
so far eighth grade mr.yoon and mr.moore are my favorites

My review is not of the school but the representatives I met at the "Meet the Magnet Schools" night in Carson September 28, 2017. Most of the booths me, my wife and daughter visited didn't seem to be very enthusiastic with our presents. Not a good first impression in my opinion. That seems to be the culture of Los Angeles in general. So that said, I am always looking for the opposite of that what I consider a poor representation of anyone or any institution. Out of the seven schools represented at this event, only four made any effort to.....well, any effort at all. We were also impressed with how Dodson, Wilmington and Glenn Hammon Curtiss but we are leaning towards Fleming and Dodson for overall location and programing.

Attended 1966-1968. Fav teacher's were Mr Herb & Miss Nelson & home room teacher was Mr Sherman (music teacher). Our colors were UCLA's colors. We had a complete metal shop, lathes, spot welders, casting beds, & forge kiln. Not sure if the shop exists today. Horticulture was one of my fav classes. Would like to hear from any one that attended this school at that time.

Today was my daughter first day and Iam so pleased with the staff there when I say the staff I mean the whole team.... there nice they made sure my baby girl got to class... I really like this school....
