Wow what a fun time! I went here for my son's school trip as a chaperone and I was amazed at the sheer beauty. Fun outdoor activities kept the class pretty busy. I never once heard "I'm bored" even one time from all 30 of them. Hosts were kind and very accomadating. Hope we get to go back again!

Newest facilities in the area for groups. The cabins are being replaced, starting with the caretakers home. New full lodge in the future. Athletic field, volleyball area, hiking on property, and a ropes course with low and high events. There is a Historic Museum for the area that represents the 83 year history. There is a full kitchen/cafeteria available (see the onsite caretaker, Mr. Pace). This is a hidden gem you will be suprised what it has to offer.

I went here my 5th grade year in 2017 I believe, I had a blast. I went for the one day trip my school was doing and it was winter still and the place was covered with several inches of snow. My friends and I played soccer in the snow and told scary stories around a campfire. Once the summer hit I went back for the summer camp experience. I wish it was more then just the 5 day stay because it was so much fun. The counselors were on top of everything, the lunch staff made accomodations for everyone who had allergies and other things that required different food. They good was really good, some of the meals were not but that was because I don't like those things. The camper vs councilor volleyball games were not only fun to watch but to participate in. I just loved everything about this place and wish I could go again and again every year. They really do know how to run things there, I have no complaints.

I give it five stars because it was the catalyst into me liking ghost towns and small mining towns. Waaaaaay back in fifth grade I went and was fascinated by the nearby mine disaster and stories they would tell about it. So now as an adult along with other things influencing it, I love road tripping to small towns.
I just wish I could access the road to the old mine just to get to see the area. If anyone who happens to know how I could do that look me up and message me on Facebook messenger. Longshot but ya never know…

Missed the not being able to do overnighter. As that adds so much the the experience. Also, missed some of the courses that used to be there. All in all it was a lot of fun.

Clear Creek was a lot of fun with my 4th grader and his class. Lots to do and the teachers kept them very busy. Kudo's to the School District for giving the kids an opportunity to learn outdoors and enjoy nature. It had snowed on our day of arrival, and it made it even more fun for the kids.
