I’m incredibly grateful to have found ACI. From providing the right material to study for my contractor’s test, helping with document submissions to the board, referring CPAs that have experience with NSCB, and securing necessary insurance for my business. If you are looking to use this service to pass a trade exam I can tell you that it is a waste of money. I am generally a strong test taker although despite this, non of the practice questions were similar to or helped me with the real test at all (C-15 Roofing and Siding). On top of this, each question is supposed to have a reference page number back to the book in order to find the answer however none of these page number were correct nor did they lead me anywhere close to the answer. When I called to discuss this problem, I was insured that there is no need to reference back to the book and that I would surely pass if I just memorize the practice test questions and answers. This is very much not the case. However, the biggest issue with this course is that multiple questions in the practice test have the incorrect answer shown as the correct answer, which I later found out by searching for the correct answer in the book. Beware of this scam.

Hey all you aspiring contractors I want to share a positive and motivating experience with all of ya! My experience with American Contractors (ACI) Institute was an excellent one. If you want to get through the cumbersome process of applying for a contractors license. ACI is the place to go because the staff there will not only provide you the study materials to prepare for the test. They will assist you in preparing the application, which is the most important part of the process, for submittal to the board. Remember they Build Contractors, which means you must have the basics such as experience and field knowledge that should have been acquired over your years of working in the field. Last and final ACI will provide all the study materials needed to prepare for the exams. It is up to you to go in to that exam room and pass that test. Now Y'all get on over there and let ACI help you make a change in your life...

Highly recommend them. Jordyn is an expert and answered all of my questions. She knows the application forms in and out. Don't do your application yourself like I did. It was sent back and now I lost time and money. I wish I had come here first. She helped me straighten everything out. Now I understand everything.

A waste of time and money. Nevada is so worried about contractors scamming people out of money. These so called contractor schools are the biggest scam of all.
