Fantastic CPR and first aid training! The entire process from online reg, to parking to classroom instruction was super smooth. Taylor (our instructor) used stories, examples, and repetition to help us retain the information. We did hands on training (mannequin) for adult and infant CPR and AED, and received a book of notes to keep. Learned a ton in a single day - highly recommend!

The front desk blonde lady is very rude disrespectful karen. My mom wanted to attend the classes I don’t know she didn’t accepted her but she charged her $140 then she returned $70 but not all money then we went spend gas and ask for remaining $70 she didn’t want to return at first hardly tried my best to get the remaining $70.

I took the Wilderness First Aid course with Taylor and had an awesome experience! He's super knowledgeable, a great teacher and made the class super fun. I now feel so much more comfortable rock climbing and backpacking and look forward to taking more classes like this in the future to be more prepared to help myself or others in a worst case scenario. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a great experience and learned how to refine my technique. I enjoyed the instructors as well as the students in the class. The class and video is easy to follow and all my questions were answered prior to any tests or evaluations. I would recommend this class for everyone. I will be going back to become an instructor in February.

I was 6 minutes late. The instructor refused to let me in the class and said they don’t give refunds but I can reschedule for a fee.
Regardless of your circumstances or how well you plan sometimes things in life take longer than planned.

Life happens.

Sometimes things go wrong and sometimes it is unpredictable and sometimes people are 6 minutes late.
You are teaching a class to teach people what to do when stuff does not go the way it is expected to go. That you lack all compassion and understanding and will happily take my money for being 6 minutes late is completely inexcusable.

Update:
I originally gave one star.
I adjusted this because they did, in fact, give me a full refund and contrary to the response below the response I received by email was actually quite compassionate and understanding.
I did, however, decide to use a different training center which was more flexible and friendly and I believe is a better fit for me. However, while I believe it should have never been an issue in the first place, I am grateful that AmeriMed CPR gave me a refund, and for their compassionate email response to my complaint.

Training was great, very educational and also very engaging and creative with the music technique to help with the 30 compressions. The instructor did a great job! I feel confident for when i need to put CPR and first aid assistance into action while waiting for EMS to arrive!

I attended the wilderness first aid training in San Diego on university ave. It was awesome! Taylor is a great instructor and Christine is great, as well! I learned so much during the two-day course. The price is very reasonable, too. Thank you!

My mom and I came in today to complete our Blended Learning CPR-AED & First Aid hands-on skills session. Christine Gallagher trained us and she was amazing! She’s very patient and honestly breaks down everything so it is simple to understand and follow along with her. Thank you for a great experience!
