A beautiful farm with owners that go above and beyond for their customers. The horses are extremely well taken care of and the lesson program is top notch. A great facility for beginners, those who enjoy riding as a hobby, and for those who want to master their craft/take their talents to the shows.

Our daughter has been at Andre Fourie Stables for the last several years. They offer boarding, horse lessons, horse camps, and birthday pony parties. AFS comes with an indoor riding arena as well as a large outdoor ring. Training for rider and horse for academy and tournament show horses. Every trainer we have worked with has been knowledgeable, patient, and showed kindness. The barns general safety practices are exercised and voiced by trainers consistently and gently to the riders/families/public. The barns communication for extra activities such as camps and shows, are consistent and executed well. Barn entrances and aisles, although high-traffic areas, are wide enough and free of clutter in order to provide a safe environment for horse and riders. The stalls have sliding doors and allow for safe movement for horse and rider. The air quality is good and stalls are cleaned frequently. Due to trainers and riders in and out of the stalls so frequently, routine checks to the interior of the stalls for hazards such as protruding nails and broken boards, I believe are taken seriously and free of such hazards. Tack room, feed room, hay lofts, and general storage areas appear to be clear of unnecessary items and secure with measures for safety and organization. Listings for veterinarians are posted in case of emergency. Both vet care and routine farrier appts are made for the horses and kept. All medication and topical agents such as fly spray for horses are kept secure. The overall landscape of the barn and facilities are maintained and kept as a presentable business for the public. General grooming and overall horse lovin’s are evident in this barn. The owners and trainers are professional and provide individualized training for riders no matter the level they wish to attain.

We paid for full board. I cleaned the stalls often because they weren’t done or done well. The shavings are wet when the pile outdoors gets low. I personally removed dead rats..big ones...that had drowned in my water buckets. The feed room was infested with rats. The fences are broken down and the place has a lot of jagged metal and nails around. The cockle burrs are everywhere. Cats run everywhere. The tack room wreaked of cat urine. The hay was dusty and moldy at times. Hope it gets turned around. Could be awesome with a lot of work and care.

This is the only place I would ever trust with my horses! Absolutely fantastic training and very understanding and connecting with the horses! They just know what they need and give it to them whole heartily! Absolutely amazing training, people, and lessons if u r interested!
