Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is California's largest and most bio-diverse state park. The Park is larger in area than the state of Rhode Island. It is a pristine desert wilderness located in the eastern San Diego county, stretching from Riverside county line to the Mexico border. Unmatched beauty for enthusiasts of the natural world, and a wonderful place for outdoor adventure and recreation. The Park Visitor Center is located near Borrego Springs and should be considered a "must-visit" stop for educational information about the Park. The official non-profit Anza-Borrego Foundation (theabf.org) works directly with the State Park to preserve and protect Anza Borrego Desert State Park for the enjoyment of current and future generations.

Stayed at Palm Canyon RV Park in Anza Borrego Desert State Park. Beyond expectations. Gorgeous surroundings, stars galore, hikes incredible and sunrise perfect. Again, rangers exemplary! If ever in the area, will try and stay.

Always have a great time here! The drive is long, but scenic. Usually take this way to look for snakes, sometimes it's hit and miss but fun nonetheless

This is a great place to visit. The Palm Canyon trail is a great low elevation gain hike with a palm oasis at the end. Love the camp ground as well.

Looks like just restrooms and a pay keosk but follow the signs to a very cool visitors center. All sorts of information amd cool displays along with very helpful staff.
