Do not go to this school!!
Here is my story… i’m a single with a special-needs son, and I take care of my elderly family. I decided to go to School at Arizona College of Glendale because they only offered night classes. I work full-time during the day and go to school at night, the class starts in the end of January 2024 - and was supposed to finish by August 2024
What happened when they drop me as a student without telling me !!! The course I was taking was a medical assisting course. it is nine months. I was almost ready to graduate and internship. But no one never got back to me until I appealed the decision. I Email back and forth to the School, but they wanted detail medical information about my family about my special-needs son about my father. That is Hippa violation.!!! I even ask what department needs this information no one knew or where this department ?

I was emailing back-and-forth to make sure this was clear. What they wanted!!! And they made it clear …
I would like To graduate and have a better job for me and my family I have experienced homelessness I even state that during my appeal letter… and explain to them I only have 3 credits to graduate school…
I have been depressed with the whole situation !!!

The update is the school has reach out to me … and we are working on this situation… I hope it’s good news soon. I will keep you all updated.!!!

Orientation was a blast! The directors and instructors are extremely motivating and friendly. I feel prepared and confident to arrive to my first class this Monday. I am so excited to begin this new chapter of my life.

Ma.Griffin has to be one of the worst instructors you could possibly have. She is rude and doesn’t take her job seriously. She doesn’t understand what proctoring consists of and doesn’t care of her students pass or not. I would consider her the worst instructor at Arizona College in the year and a half I have been here. I’m withdrawing a week before I graduate to make sure they can’t count me as a grad since I would never recommend the school to anyone. Go elsewhere beware

The software for the programs they use for classes is very complicated and different for each class and you are expected to know how to use apple products or learn both at the same time, and with the amount of work they immediately drown you with, unless you have had prior experience with the software used and know how to use apple products too, you are guaranteed to fail, because they don’t have anything to help the student learn either, not even an instruction book for how to navigate the classes, which would have been the difference between success and failure for many students. Find a school with less complicated portals/software, because what they use requires a class and they don’t give u instructions except for on the first day, and there’s too many students who are lost and needing help for them to help everyone, so they tell other students to help u, and those students try, because they were told to; but they don’t know what they are doing so they can’t help you, either. Ultimately, u will have to figure things out for yourself thru trial and error, and u will end up behind, because of this. Hence the higher than average drop out rate. Having to download 11 different apps inform 3 classes is just ridiculous, anyways!

I didn't think college was possible for me again. However, I filled out an 'more information' form and was contacted by Ms. Jeanie Cole, since she first said "Hello" I could tell I was headed in the right direction, she took her time to listen to me and truly understand my scenario, she gives that "mama bear" energy which is EXACTLY what I needed. She has been extremely helpful, easy to talk to, and is genuinely interested in your success. She is with you EVERY step of the way and not to mention her soothing voice!! Jeanie IS the reason why I chose Arizona College, from the first conversation I know she had my best interest at heart. I just KNOW she is bright light in the office, I cannot thank her enough for her part in my success.

It was ok to start but then it got kind of bad towards the end before I completed my program. Some teachers were very unprofessional and rude, some were the best I’ve had. I didn’t like how it was very unorganized and kind of a mess when we were going to extern and finishing our classes, we received our CPR certificates almost 2 months after we completed the program and we had to constantly message the director for them.Overall it’s not the worst program but it could use A LOT of improvement from the directors and more communication.

I graduated from their Pharmacy technician program in July of 2023. Mr. C was a very good instructor. His drug quizes helped out alot when taking the state test. The hands on labs also helped me out in knowing somewhat of what I was doing when I first started my new position as a compounding technician.

My experience at Arizona College has been amazing. I love the Hybrid classes. Now that I am further into my schooling I am completely online until extern. Despite little things that could be fixed in the near future with other students. Other than that I am glad to be back in school once again furthering my education. I highly recommend checking out Arizona College if you’re thinking of furthering your education or thinking of getting a career. Thanks to Ken White with all his help with getting me started with my enrollment.
