Tried to call when they opened before my class so that I could join, they didn’t answer the phone I called for a straight hour with no answer and now I have to wait 2 months for the next class. Why are the classes so far apart? Makes no sense and definitely not trying to help people get off paper.

Possibly the worst "business" I have ever dealt with. If you have an option to go anywhere else, do. This place will make your treatment a major league pain in the ass

Places like this are part of the reason people get stuck in the system. Working with ACES has been a nightmare every single step of the way. We’re trying to resolve an old issue and they’ve held up the process for weeks and weeks. We contact them at least once a day. I've worked in the field a long time, and one thing I was always taught is not to become an additional barrier to people who are just trying to sort through their issues. IF you can get them on the phone, no one seems to have any answers to questions. They explain they’ll call back, never do. Never return voicemails. They’re never in the office to meet face to face. They’re rude and seem to have preconceived ideas about the people they work with before they even begin. They’ve made everything harder than it needs to be. Don't do the work if you don't have the capacity for it, other people pay for the inconsistencies and general apathy. It does not need to be this difficult. I'm not a client, but helping a loved one navigate this since it's been a challenge every step of the way. It took them 10 minutes to respond to a negative review, but they can't answer emails or voicemails. If I was the only negative review, they might be onto something, but this is obviously something people deal with every day in trying to work with ACES. So unfortunate.

I was looking for classes for evaluation and seen this place as an option but after reading the reviews and how this company replies to the reviews I think I’m better off not going here, I did call and get information on classes and even the lady on the phone was very short and rude.

At first I was hesitant to treatment. I felt I just got caught with a dui and I didn’t have an issue. It was just a way to make me pay for stuff I didn’t need and that by the end they would find a way to keep me in the system… But I was wrong. After doing a lot of self reflection and treatment I started taking a good look at why I kept getting in trouble. When I asked myself “was alcohol involved?” The answer was always yes. Not just in trouble with the law but also in bad situations in my personal life. Through the process I did mess up. To them it wasn’t an instant violation of my probation but was an opportunity for me to take accountability and show I was trying. If you make an effort and correct your mistakes they will work with you. After all of this I can see that they were not out to get me. I was sentenced to do treatment because of my mistakes not ACES. I was mad because I got caught and didn’t want to admit that really did have an issue. I hope if you read this review you ask yourself “Do most of my bad situations happen while I am under the influence?” Even if it’s not directly related but you are still under the influence to get through a bad situation? Do you plan future days when you will be able to party again? If the answer is yes then you might have a problem. I nor anyone else can tell you that you have a problem. You have to admit it to yourself. If you don’t and you are just going through the motions to complete probation think of the classes this way. You are basically putting in this time as community service. You may not realize this but there might be someone in those classes that actually get something valuable by your participation in the class. You could change someone for the better. And if you find you are in need of help or some new ideas on how to manage life without substances they can help you too. Really take this time to evaluate your life and take as much benefit from this treatment as you can. Also if you do find yourself in an uncomfortable situation where you have messed up BE HONEST!!! Think of an action plan and be prepared to follow it with ACES. You may be given a chance, but they won’t continue giving chances. Remember you are there because of you and your actions, but also for you and the better choices you can make in the future! I have been done with treatment for a few months now. Today I am 15 months and 2 days alcohol free and finally getting my life back! If your having a bad experience think about your part in it. Remember you get out of it what you put into it.

Very unprofessional. I believe they do this as a side gig so they aren’t really on top of things. I would not recommend this place if someone is looking to take classes or even to see the therapist.
When I first went to aces the door was open but no one was in there, just an empty office. Second time I tried calling to make an appointment. It takes a good 4-7 (not exaggerating) calls to get through. Went to said appointment (to pay the fee for an evaluation) and I walked in. There are no receptionist or anyone but a man sitting in one of the offices. He seen me but did not greet me so I assumed he was a client. Turns out he was the therapist for my evaluation. When I paid my fee for the evaluation they did not have any change and did not notify me to bring exact amount. Like ten bucks or so.
Evaluation finished now I’m waiting for the “results”. They couldn’t give me a date it would be done but said it would take about three weeks. When I called in three weeks the (I assume Latina) receptionist seemed a little irritated that I was calling asking for the assessment. It wasn’t done but would be done soon, to just call and see. 5 weeks later it’s done and now I can take classes, but I need a book to take the classes. I just called (5 times) and the same lady answered. She said the business hours are wrong, they work from home and that they only work on Wednesday in office so I can’t get the book till Wednesday (today is Thursday). I told her I work at the hours of them operating and if we could find a resolution. I could pay online and they could mail the book or send me a ebook version. She hung up on me. Lol I repeat I do not recommend. I know a lot of people that come are drugged out and a little off the walls but I do not use drugs or I do not have a domestic problem. I’m just doing a cognitive class and this seems like it’s a lot harder then it should be to get into a class.

The place is filthy for starters and the building is falling apart. Most importantly I entered a plea in abeyance with the courts and I had 60 days to get my assessment done and I had my assessment, court fines, negative drug test all within a week.

Long story short I ended up getting contacted by the courts saying they haven't received any proof that I did any of that three months later. Not only that they say they will handle business and or contact me and never contact me or take care of what they say.

If you are looking for responsible, mature and clean surroundings. This is not the place. If you want to stay in a bad position; Do treatment here.

Only reason I give 2 stars is because my counselors are AWESOME pat and Raquel are amazing people and I love doing their class. But ACES themselves are horrible. Trying to tell me I missed a drug test when I've called every single day as ordered and the dude who did my evaluation isn't reliable. I've sent multiple emails to him with no reply. This place is so unprofessional they were sopened to my court today and didn't even show up. Don't make the same mistake me and everyone else leaving reviews did and go through somewhere else!
