I have not personally attended ATS but I have worked with several assistants that have completed the course. Having the basic knowledge of the dental field, terminology, and x-rays is HUGE! Starting in a dental office can be overwhelming, especially because every office does run slightly different, so coming in with hands-on skills and background knowledge is a big leap forward as opposed to being trained on the job with no background. 10/10 recommend the education before stepping foot into a dental office!

I was a student from ATS. The teacher was a dental assistant with 17 years of experience. She was so helpful in the education we needed to have a basis for a great career in dental assisting. The class is also only 1 day a week on Saturday’s, so it accommodates a busy work week!
