I completed my nail tech course here at Aveda institute and Ms Luz my instructor and she was amazing she gave teach me how to do acrylics how to shape how to do frenchies styles and so much more. she's very helpful and open to guide you through the learning process she's very nice and goofy.

I just had my third visit at Aveda Institute in Fort Myers. Like each time before, I had an amazing experience! I love how the students listen to what I would like. The instructors also do an incredible job with double checking with me to make sure the students heard me correctly and applied what I had asked for. I will continue to get my services from here.

I had an amazing experience with the Aveda Ft. Myers team for my birthday! It started with a fantastic facial from Ally, who took the time to identify the root of my skin concerns and used products that worked wonders for my skin. Next, I had a brow wax and tint with Leslie (an alumna), who was incredibly kind and meticulous, ensuring I left with exactly the look I wanted. Lastly, I had a manicure with Beatriz, who was not only super sweet but also impressively quick! Phara, the instructor, did an outstanding job overseeing everything and creating such a positive environment—I could tell all the students adore her. Thank you, ladies, for making my day so special!

The front end of the operation looks great, but when you go to the back end for a facial - you feel like you're in a covid clinic.
Unfinished cement floors and simply curtains separating the rooms - kind of like in an emergency room setup.
Trying to go in there for a relaxing service but the bright light directly over the table shined in my eyes the entire time. Why in the world would they not have those lights be able to dim?
My technician did a good job for the facial, but it would be nice if she explained more about each step that she was doing. The price was definitely reasonable. I would go here again

I made an appointment to have my hair relaxer touched up. I have very curly hair. I’m also going blind. It’s hard to manage my hair when I have a hard time seeing. This I relax it. I get to my appointment and the girl takes me back. She brings the instructor over and the instructor tells me she isn’t comfortable with touching up my relaxer because she can’t identify where to put the treatment on as I have curly hair with many different kinds of curl patterns. This is the instructor, who you would think was a professional with plenty of years of experience if she’s being paid to teach others. So, instead of teaching the student how to work with a challenging situation, the instructor took the lazy way out and just said “she wasn’t comfortable doing the service”. In other words the client didn’t get the scheduled service they took time out of their day to come get, the student will never learn how to handle challenging situations, and the instructors have little to zero experience in the professional world working on their own clients. This was my first and last time taking a chance on Aveda. Utterly mediocre at best.

Had a wonderful, thorough and relaxing Tulasara facial with Monica Q from Esthi Nights! Monica is professional and well-trained! She has a big future ahead of her!
I also need to compliment Logan at the reception desk for his friendly welcome and easy post-treatment experience! He represents Aveda very well.

Booked for a full set of acrylics and toes, the nail tech did an amazing job. The instructor was very nice, welcoming, and attentive . I got to see some of the sets the other girls had done and they are all are very advanced with their design skills!

I visited this salon a couple of times for facials, pedicures, and rosemary scalp treatment. The students on the nail side don't seem to be educated well enough. They take a long time doing service, and they don't know what they are doing. I noticed the instructor appears to want to be their friend more than being their instructor. It's a shame because these students could go far with proper training.
