Both our boys have been going to Axiom for almost 2 years. Our older son gets tutoring in both math and writing. His instructors, Anthony and Shawn, are great in teaching him not only the subject matter but also helping him learn how to study and organize his work and thought processes. This is even more valuable because it will help our son in the long run throughout his education. The staff at Axiom also created a science enrichment program for our younger son and he thoroughly enjoyed the projects. Currently he is working with Hannah and loves her. Over the years our boys have built a relationship with the staff at Axiom and and as a result are becoming more confident academically. They truly do love going to Axiom to learn!

Can't say enough good things about our experience here. They matched us with tutors perfect for our child who has only had a positive experience. Going to Axiom and her time with Tristan is the highlight of her week. Also the progress in school is remarkable.

Additionally I have found the corporate structure to be responsive
accomodating and best in class as well.

Thanks Axiom, not sure what we would have done without you

Axiom in Los Altos has been such a great place for my boys. When my oldest was home schooling, we started using Axiom for math support. That turned into writing and Executive Functioning help as well. His tutor, Eli has been so patient, wise and easy to work with. My middle son, 10, would like to work with Anthony Ho on a daily basis. Anthony has filled in the gaps for him with Math. This year we are using them to teach Math to our 10 year old. Not to be left out, our youngest worked with Axiom over the summer to develop his writing. We are now moving into test prep for schools.
The staff at Axiom is friendly, helpful and intuitive. We are very happy there.

Axiom is a true godsend. My daughter started struggling academically, for the first time, in 4th grade, and it was really affecting her self-esteem. I couldn’t put my finger on the reason, and at first I thought it was perhaps just because she was young for her grade.

I received a flyer in the mail about Axiom’s Learning Efficiency programs, which addressed core processing and executive functioning skills. I was confused as I only thought of Axiom as a place that helped with ACT and SAT test prep, but in reading about core processing skills, suspected that my daughter could be struggling in that capacity.

I went in, told them about my observations of my daughter’s struggles, and within no time not only was she scheduled for an assessment, but with the assessment results was a detailed plan of action. Thankfully, before I even fully understood the implications of her learning struggles, Axiom had a plan and was working with her to achieve the goals set out.

Literally, everyone at Axiom is super positive, supportive and attentive to the needs of their clients. My daughter loves going to Axiom, and I have definitely seen her confidence, self-esteem, performance and perseverance measurably increase. With Axiom’s help, she is experiencing the reward of knowing that as she puts in the hard work, she does see improvements. Along the way, they have also been a compassionate “listening ear” to my fears and concerns as a parent.

Some of my daughter’s difficulties have already been resolved thanks to Axiom. While some others won’t magically disappear, Axiom is effectively helping her “shore up” in those areas. She is also learning tools and strategies to help her as she learns to advocate for herself in the classroom and beyond.

I am extremely thankful for Axiom. Through their knowledge and expertise, not only have they directly and tangibly helped my daughter, they have also helped me to better understand her and her struggles, which has helped me to be a better parent.

There are other places that do a subset of what Axiom does, but Axiom provides an excellent and comprehensive set of services for kids who are struggling academically regardless of the underlying reasons.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the program and staff at Axiom. This place isn't just for test prep and extracurricular tutoring. Axiom also offers assessments and treatments of cognitive and developmental delays as well as focus and attention issues, which both of my children have. The level of care and attention that the Axiom staff has provided for my son (7yo) and daughter (11yo) is unsurpassed and one that I have never experienced in any other clinic (and I have been around the block or two when it comes to special needs centers/clinics for my kids). The staff has gone above and beyond in making sure that my children experience success in their sessions. The programs and treatments are not only scientifically supported, but there's also a lot of heart and soul in how the staff interact with my kids. At Axiom, my kids aren't just clients with developmental issues that need to be resolved. There they are treated with care and compassion (with a dash of playfulness and fun). In more than two years of going to Axiom, they both have become much more focused and attentive in their school work as well as more aware in their body and of their behavior. They have learned to control their impulses and pay attention to subtle social cues and nuances. I am confident that they will continue to progress and develop under the tutelage and care of the Axiom staff.

Our daughter had struggled developmentally for years, socially, physically and in school. We had taken her to various specialists for reading, sensory motor work, speech and more.

After finally receiving the diagnosis from Stanford that our daughter has ADHD we were desperate to try and find a solution for her, we wanted so badly for her to feel confident in her own skin and her own abilities. After trying various organizations, Axiom differentiated itself right away.

The team spent over two hours utilizing a range of tools (from technology to hands on person to person) to provide an incredibly comprehensive assessment of our daughter’s needs. Axiom determined the root causes for our daughter’s learning differences and specifically built upon the cognitive processing, physical or executive functioning systems to address these issues.

Since beginning their LEAP program in February, we have seen unimaginable growth in our daughters’ capabilities. She had once said to us: "my brain doesn't work good", one can imagine as a parent the feeling of hearing these words from your child. With Axiom's dynamic and multifaceted care, our daughter is now thriving with more confidence and capabilities than we could have ever hoped for in such a short period of time. Axiom has not only helped our daughter intellectually progress but also physically (her auditory and sensory processing sensitivities have greatly subsided) and emotionally (she now is able to communicate her emotions and feelings with confidence).

On top of all of this, Axiom has embraced our family through COVID-19. One of the founders, Dr. Simon, has personally made herself available over zoom conferences to advise and ensure that our daughter continues her development as we shifted to remote learning. That said, the entire team from our daughter’s day to day teacher (an exceptional developmental expert), to our center director and our education director are incredibly caring, compassionate, understanding and patient. All of them have invested in not only our daughter but also our family; we as parents have also learned a great deal with new tools to better interact with and engage with our daughter as well.

We feel so blessed to have found Axiom, we honestly feel that they have saved our daughter and will continue to save her from a life of feeling anxious, left behind, out of sync and insecure. Thank you, Axiom for everything you do.

I have been very pleased with Axiom Learning Staff at Los Altos Center. From the very beginning- initial email, phone call, to testing , then counseling, to scheduling private lessons, to help in SAT prep- the whole process was done very professionally and efficiently.
The best part is that my son's SAT score jumped 260 points from only six private lessons and he loved his tutor.( Thanks Jason )

Since his junior year, my son has been a student at Axiom. His tutor, Jeen, has been a great help to his success in school and has moved mountains in his understanding. Without her help, he would not have been as successful in physics second semester. Now, as one of her calculus students, I am happy to report that he has been doing much better since meeting with Jeen again. Thank you axiom!
