Devin is a great banjo instructor! I've been taking lessons from him for over a year now and I've learned so much. What's great, is that he'll tailor the lessons my needs and my desires. Early on I told him I wanted to be able to jam with other musicians, so the lessons he's been giving me have been created with that goal in mind. He has taught me a lot about theory and why it works the way it does. If you want to play banjo, I can't recommend him enough.

I bought my 13 year old daughter a bass guitar for Christmas and decided to put her in lessons. So I got her started with Devin and she's learning a lot from him in just about a months worth of lessons. Shes progressing well and loves it! Devin keeps it simple since she's a beginner and he makes it fun for her. He's very patient with her and allows her to go at her own pace while he still continues to motivate her progression. I'm excited to see my daughter continue to progress with the lessons. If you're looking to get lessons, sign up with Devin. I definitely recommend him. He does more than just bass guitar lessons. He does guitar and banjo lessons too!

Devin is an outstanding mentor and instructor. He tailors the lesson to fit my interests and skill level. He offers honest feedback in a positive light. If I don't understand something he adjusts his teaching method to accommodate me instead of expecting me to adjust to his method. And most importantly....he's infinitely patient.

Always wanted to learn to play the banjo. Devon was referred to me by a local music shop and I couldn’t be happier. He has made learning fun and easy. We started with a 30 minute lesson and soon moved to a full hour. I highly recommend the full hour. I would recommend Devon to anyone who wants to learn the banjo.
