They administered a vaccine to my daughter , a minor , without consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We called and requested 2 vaccines ( yellow fever and malaria) so my daughter can go on a humanitarian trip to Africa. They set up the appointment.

My wife sent a permission slip with our daughter to receive the “ required “ vaccines. The nurse then advised my daughter it is recommended she also get the typhoid vaccine, rabies, and get a booster for meningitis. My daughter being unsure of the situation and the funds needed for the vaccines declined the rabies shot but accepted the others ( which drove the price up another $100 ) as the meningitis was covered by insurance but typhoid wasn’t.

Not sure how they get away with doing more than was requested with a minor. Maybe I’m missing something. Luckily the typhoid vaccine is pills she can take so we were able to return those and get her money back. Pretty frustrating situation.

So many wonderful and sincere staff members work here. So many resources and are willing to help those out who have the desire to help themselves and want to change for the better.

Not great during rush hour. I booked an appointment online and registered. Still had to wait in a long line of cars for my immunization. The order and organization seemed like it could be better. Some of the staff were super friendly and helpful, others were not. Our appointments were around 5:00 and we ended up being there for an hour and a half. I'm guessing they are better organized earlier in the day when they are not so busy.

I was apparently exposed to COVID, no symptoms to report. I came here seeking to be tested. The place looked closed and no cars were in the parking lot. I went in, it was open. Just inside the door was a lady asking me if I was here to get vaccinated? I informed her I was already vaccinated and was seeking to be tested. She was so polite and helpful. Within minutes I was scheduled to be tested at Cache Valley Hospital.

How would one go about locating a copy of they vaccination card if they missplace it?

The staff members at Bear River Health Department are wonderful, helpful & friendly folks! They have always made me feel as though my presence is important & that my well-being means a lot to them. There are so many different staff members there to help with all kinds of needs. If one staff member doesn't fit you I am sure that there is one staff member that will.

Thanks for telling me im late. I'm sure you guys are busy but to have a 15min late policy and we show up 14min and called ahead to tell you there was a accident on the road and claim that i have over your 15min is very unprofessional. plz change you policy to don't be late at all past your due time. 14-15 thets 1min and i still got there do to unforeseen circumstance in life. Make us reschedule and charge us extra money for being a min late.. your dr. are grate people but work on your customer service.
