I had a wonderful experience with BLC, especially with their subject tutoring during my college preparation. The tutors were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive, tailoring their guidance to my individual needs (SAT, AP Calc BC, Multivariable Calc, Physics). Their help made a significant difference in improving my understanding of challenging subjects and building my confidence.

What stood out most was how BLC's personalized approach helped me stay organized and motivated throughout the process. Thanks to their support, I have successfully got into my top 1 choice during this year's early decision round.

I highly recommend BLC to anyone looking for dedicated and professional academic support.

Our 11 year-old daughter and 15 year-old son enrolled in math/reading and AP/IB classes at Bellevue Learning Center. They had an excellent learning experience. Mrs. Kim was incredibly helpful in finding suitable teachers tailored to our kids' needs. We are grateful for their continuous support.

we've had our son (now junior going into his senior year coming fall '23) with BLC since he was a freshman. their program has helped him achieve his academic goals through the years and quality of staff is outstanding. summer programs are also very beneficial for SAT and upcoming years depending on the need. very flexible schedule and tutors are patient and detail-oriented. def. recommend.

My daughter had a wonderful experience at Bellevue Learning Center. After getting two SAT scores that weren't satisfactory, we decided to match her up with a tutor. She really enjoyed this experience as she started to grasp concepts that she previously struggled with. She appreciated how her tutor was extremely thorough with her work and helped her understand why the problem was wrong and how to prevent doing it in the future. In the end, she received quite a high score on her last SAT. She felt that the overall environment was very positive and has recommended it to her friends.

My son has been with BLC for 3 years. He very much likes the teachers here and his academic improvement has been tremendous. Mr. and Mrs. Kim are super experienced and greatly helpful with his courses selection, GPA management and test preparation as well.

Update: My son got accepted by his best fit college! He completed his SAT preparation as well as application essay with his BLC tutor. Looking back on the past 5 years, I can't say enough of my gratitude and appreciation for BLC!

BLC has improved my grade in English and US history. The teachers are nice and caring about the students. They focus on both content and self improvement. I took the summer SAT class and my score improved by 320 and I got and perfect score(800) on my math part.👍👍

Bellevue Learning Center is a wonderful establishment. I attended here since I was in 6th grade and it's been great so far. The teachers are very well-educated and are always striving to help you the best that they can. I've had five different teachers during my time here, three of them for English and two for math, and all of them have been amazing. They have slightly different teaching styles, but all of them were effective and helped me learn so much more.

They also offer summer classes here, which I've attended for two years. It's nice to also have classes rather than just one-on-one sessions sometimes, because not only do you get to meet new people who are roughly the same skill level as you, but you get to interact with others and learn from their success as well as their mistakes. Even so, the classes are relatively small, the number of students varying per class. It is not usually more than 5 or 6 at the most, and that's helpful so you can receive more personalized feedback from your teacher. I am most definitely taking summer classes again this year, which will be the SAT prep classes.

I've found that BLC's teaching methods have been the most effective. I've gone to other tutoring places as well, but BLC is by far the best. For English, they have you read books that are thought-provoking and match your skill level, which was great because the books I'm assigned at school are often too easy for me. Many of the books or short stories I read at BLC, I ended up reading in school a year or two later, proving that the material assigned is definitely helpful. There is also a lot of new vocabulary and grammar. In math, we used various examples, visual representations, and fun activities to help better understand concepts. For both classes, there were quizzes so the teacher can make sure everyone is at the same level of understanding as well as checking that you are paying attention during class.

One benefit of going to a place like this is that you get to know your teachers very well. I'd like to say that I'm pretty close with my teachers and we still keep in touch. The teachers here are also willing to help you with things outside of BLC, as long as it pertains, of course. My English teacher from summer classes in 2017 helped me with my writing submission for the national Scholastic Art & Writing Awards competition, and I'm happy to say that it turned out really well. The teachers are also very understanding of the fact that you have an outside life as well, and sometimes there are complications so you are unable to finish your work or come to class on a certain day.

Overall, BLC is great for many things, including wanting to get a head start for the next school year or preparing for upcoming exams such as the SAT. I would definitely recommend it to others.
