Absolute joke of a university. Only go here if your work pays for it. Unprofessional counselors, mine took a 6 month hiatus out of nowhere, and I had to get a new one. THEN had to remind her I was graduating to actually order my diploma. They also forgot credits and added more to my degree without telling me. Thank god I'm done.

Institution pulls a bait and switch worse than a shady used car dealer. After you pay them 50$ to apply to the college they do your transfer evaluation of what transfers over for credit and then shows you what you would have left to get your degree. Everything looks great on paper. Then you enroll in the program and are told whoops those credits we told you would transfer aren’t going to and if you take classes anywhere else to get the hours you are now missing you will only get partial credit for hours when you transfer them. Out $50 after being outright lied to, do not make the same mistake as me.

I am attending Bellevue now. Key knowledge for applicants: They went the extra mile to accept my existing credits from a fully accredited school in the Midwest. I'm in the online program. Once you understand the drill, the process works beautifully. I work on my classes when I want to, I've learned key things for my degree, and they are fully accredited. This is a fantastic way to get your degree.

I was ecstatic to see the Kirkpatrick series was part of the curriculum. Like every student, I want my study to work toward the future I'm planning in IT. But this should be a requirement in every school, starting in grade school. It's what's missing from most curricula.

You get such generous acceptance of your existing credit hours, and it is so easy to knock out what remains that you aren't losing anything vs another school. Other schools will also have curricula to round out your education, but it's in something less useful. If you hate our country, you can always go to another school and learn to be a societal ingrate. They teach that everywhere.

The cost is not the lowest, but somewhere in the middle. Everyone I've spoken to at the school is extremely helpful. About everything. Bookstore, Financial Aid, Student Services, etc.

8 years later: The fully accredited degree I received at BU has opened many doors for me. I've landed high level roles and my marketability is significantly higher. Often, the employer wants only to see a technical degree.

It is also very helpful that you receive a semester of credit in the time ordinarily taken to complete a quarter. You can use this to complete 2 years of curricula in only one year.

Regarding the Kirkpatrick Series: I didn't find it to favor any political ideology. Rather, it gets you thinking about the fundamentals of various ideologies. It helps you to understand why our founders were wary of any form of government, but ultimately decided it was necessary.

Bellevue has been the best experience with online classes that I have had anywhere. A mistake was made with my financial account and the staff acted quickly to rectify the situation. The courses are very manageable and the content is high quality. I can’t recommend them enough.

I had a great experience attending Bellevue University online. Yes, it's one of the pricey private schools, but they also have lower fees compared to other schools. I found the material challenging and I feel like I got my money's worth. The only negative thing I have to complain about is that unnecessary course that all undergraduates have to take. If I had known that I couldn't get out of taking the course from the beginning, I would've reconsidered another cheaper school. I felt like that was a ripoff.

Bellevue “University” is a shameless diploma mill. They perceive students as revenue streams only. I taught there and was required to allow students to cheat. I refused and quit immediately.

Bellevue simply takes your money, and gives a worthless degree.

DO NOT ATTEND THIS DIPLOMA MILL

Bellevue University is a private, non-profit institution that provides high-quality educational programs. The University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Both online and face-to-face classes are available. Bellevue's faculty is composed of highly qualified individuals who care about the success of each student. The admissions and financial aid procedures are streamlined and hassle-free. Credits are easily transferred from other schools.

A previous reviewer commented negatively about the requirement of the Kirkpatrick Signature Series. Bellevue is very clear from the outset that those courses are required as part of its liberal arts program. If that is a deal-breaker, then I'd recommend choosing another school.

There was also a complaint from a reviewer about not receiving an informational packet in the mail. It is true that Bellevue does not generally send printed materials. Unless you are attending face-to-face courses, all information is easily accessible on their online learning portal. If you like to have hard copies, you can simply print the course materials at home.

The bottom line -- I graduated with a B.S. in Business from Bellevue, and I highly recommend this school.

This school lacks communication so bad I do not recommend this School to anybody if you would further have questions later on down the road you’re better off joining another school. It’s all nothing but stress since I began the school. And they don’t make situations any easier. Also the professors are mean as hell! They don’t teach you anything. They write out what you’re supposed to do every week and grade and give feedback. That’s it! You have to literally teach yourself with research articles and your text book. And when you do receive feedback from them on an assignment, and you had some errors, instead of teaching us our wrong doings they decide to give you zeros and be rude when leaving feedback. I can’t wait to graduate because this school is nothing but BS!
