Spacious room was super clean and fresh, showing minimal wear. Huge bathroom. Fantastic breakfast bar well tended with lots of choices and hot entrees. Perhaps best of all was the friendly staff. The morning host couldn't have been more cheerful and helpful. Kudos for a great experience!

We stayed here for one night on our visit to Death Valley. Lone Pine is an adorable little town with lots of character and this Best Western Hotel did not disappoint. The view from the front of the property of the Sierra Nevadas / Mt Whitney is striking. We were there in February so we saw snow covered peaks. The motel is a ranch style layout and we loved that each room had a designated parking spot! Room was very large and beds are comfortable. There was a mini fridge and a microwave. They offer complementary cookies upon check in and we found the staff very friendly. The breakfast was ample and included choices for everyone. Options included hot breakfast consisting of eggs, sausage and tater-tots. The other options were choice of three cereals, some pastries, toast, English muffins, yogurt, and even mango fruit for a topping or side. They offered the usual coffee / tea, juice and almond milk as an alternative option. If you bring your furry friend they have a nice big area at the back of the property that is fenced and overlooks the Inyo Mountain Range. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Note if you do visit Lone Pine be sure to check out the Alabama Hills. They are minutes from this property and well worth the time.

We stayed here for a night while visiting the Lone Pine area. The room was spacious enough for 4 of us (we booked the larger size room). The beds were comfortable, and we slept well. The bathroom felt a little dated, with a tub shower that leaked a little water on the floor, even with appropriate use of the shower curtain, but the water was warm and the bathroom was spacious. We appreciated the included breakfast and felt that, for the rate, this was a great value. We would definitely stay here again.

Location great as a midway overnight from Reno to Palm Springs. Room is adequate and clean but don’t expect luxury. Breakfast was basic with scrambled eggs and sausages along with cereals etc. afternoon check in person not very customer friendly but since interaction was limited not a real factor. Again an adequate clean motel for an overnight

Though I prefer to camp when traveling between Reno and San Diego, sometimes the weather or my timing doesn’t work out right. When I have to stay somewhere, this is where I stay. On my last trip, I stayed because winds were cold and 30 mph+, and I had a car instead of my usual truck, and I didn’t want a windy tent night up in the Alabama Hills.||I travel with my dog and appreciate that this motel is dog-friendly. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and outfitted with everything I need. The breakfast is more than most motel breakfasts — as someone who doesn’t eat gluten, I can find filling and nutritious options (eggs or yogurt + fruit). (I’m not celiac so can’t speak to cross-contamination concerns — only that I have felt good after eating here.) And of course there is the beautiful backdrop of the mountains. I highly recommend for any travelers, particularly those traveling with a dog. It is wonderful to feel safe, welcome, at ease in those moments that camping is not possible or practical.

Super clean and fresh. We always get the pet friendly room and I must say everything was very clean. The staff is friendly and always in a happy mood. It's our go to on our way south from Tahoe to the inlaws in Pauma Valley. Thank you again and happy holidays.

From the road, this looked like an older property and we adjusted our expectations. However, they had been pleasantly updated. The bathroom/shower was modern. Everything was clean. We asked for a room in the back, away from the highway. We were in Room 136 and it was indeed quiet. The room was very clean, the beds very comfortable.

I stayed two nights - and it was a great ezxperience. The room was comfy, and exceptionally clean (as was the overall property). The complimentary breakfast was superb and the front desk staff were helpful and polite. I woulkd - if I coulkd - give it more than 5 stars!
