My husband and I had a great stay and this hotel. The staff were very friendly and caring. They made sure we had what we needed and always had coffee ready for us in the morning and it is great coffee! It is very quiet and beautiful view! The rooms are also cozy and very sanitized.

This a convenient halfway point on my drive to NC. The motel is literally right off 77. We went to Subway for dinner, which was fine. I travel with my dogs and they were comfortable with the spacious room. Very friendly family-owned motel. It isn't fancy but it is clean and comfortable. This will be my new stop on my drive to the beach.

If you need a clean comfortable room for the night, this is your place. Conveniently located right off I-77. The owner and his staff are great caring people. I travel back and forth to Florida, and always stay here. The rooms are always clean.

I stayed here on 03/10/25 and this place is absolutely great, My car broke down and was able to get it going the very next day, They were absolutely helpful and also very polite. This place is super clean and smells great, The rooms are very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it 👌

This is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are clean and in great condition. The staff is always welcoming and friendly no matter the time. I love to support small local businesses and this motel does not disappoint. For me, it is in the perfect location between northern pa and South Carolina. I use this as my hallway overnight stay.

Just a short note on my semi-annual stop-over here travelling from Louisiana to Ohio... Once again a pleasant stay at this old-fashioned but updated gem of a place. And it's American family owned! Nice to support family business over corporations & foreigners.||This motel is always clean, quiet & comfortable. Price is reasonable. Easy on & off from Interstate. No big town or city distractions. Big Walker Mountain view is serene & relaxing.||After a previous days long weary drive, I always leave here well rested and off with a complimentary large cup of coffee.||Just a short distance drive from the motel, tourists will appreciate the spectacular 360 degree views from the top of Big Walker Mountain.

Our car broke down on 77 in the dark and we were lucky enough to have coasted into this exit. The staff at Big Walker Motel were so kind and accommodating- even driving down the hill to get our family of 4, luggage and dog from the nearby gas station. The room was clean, great pillows, towels were plush, great wifi, and even a great view. This wasn't part of our Thanksgiving plans, but were beyond grateful for the kindness shown to us and how lucky we were to find a clean and nice place along the highway.

One of those hidden gem little places. Stunning views of the mountains, very clean, guy up front was very polite. Coming from Michigan going to Myrtle was a good point to stop for the night. Not much of a town a Circle K, Subway, and dollar general. But you don't need more if you are just staying a night.
