Disappointed with Last-Minute Appointment Cancellation and Lack of Accountability

I scheduled an appointment for a simple clipper cut, calling at 9:30 AM and receiving confirmation just 15 minutes later. I also received a reminder text at 2:59 PM, only to receive a call at 3:13 PM—47 minutes before my appointment—informing me that they could no longer accommodate me. The call wasn’t to offer a solution or an apology, but rather to shift the blame onto the student.

I was told that a professional could easily handle the clipper cut in a short time, but for the student, it would take about 1.5 hours. I understand that students are still learning, but I was left wondering why, if the situation was a scheduling error, the professional couldn’t step in and handle the cut themselves. It would have been a good opportunity for both customer service and to give the student a teaching moment by handling the situation with grace.

Instead, I was left to deal with the frustration and inconvenience of being told at the last minute that my appointment was canceled, with little ownership taken by the staff. For a business that claims to prioritize customer service, this was a disappointing experience that I hope can be improved for future customers.

Came here at the recommendation of a friend. The atmosphere was warm and professional, and the service thoughtful and well done. Being students and there being a routine of checking in at key points in the process, it's not going to be the fastest for the services you recieve but it will be attentive. The clearer you can be about what would like done or not done and being able to communicate that will likely help all involved in the process, but once there you can slow down at bit and enjoy. Be specific, ask questions, and chat if you're up for it! Everyone I talked to there was kind and clearly invested in both their students and the work they are doing. For the price and your options, it's hard to beat! Shout out to Kaleb for a lovely appointment and being down for me to add an additional service right after when I realized I had the time for it 🌟

If you can get in, it's a great experience. However, the online appointments cost extra, they regularly cancel confirmed appointments (often at the last minute,) they're closed on weekends, and don't take appointments less than 90 minutes before they close so the availability makes it extremely difficult for anyone going to school or with a day job to utilize their services.

TLDR, too difficult to get an appointment to make it worth it.

As a former student I speak very highly of this school. Not only for the curriculum, but the instructors and experience you receive while attending. Very professional atmosphere for services and welcoming to everyone!

Terrible service. Barber was visibly inexperienced and took and hour and a half to cut my hair and still manged to make it look horrible. Barber used a buzzer after told that I didn't prefer one.
Do better, disappointing.

Ok so I am giving 1 star bc they over charged. And when I asked about the price they charged vs the serve we got. Online a facial is $8. And there was 2 of us. So 2 facials should be $16. I was charge $30. That was $15 for each when I ask the girl at the front desk why it was so much she said that was the price on the ticket. The ticket said Facial. And then another guy said oh it should be $12 and she was like no this is fine. And I was really confused. I paid for the 2 services separately. So 15 a piece and tipped in cash. But then when they sent an electronic recipe it said Dermaplaning.... we didn't get dermaplaning which is a straight razor shave all over your face to remove hair and exfoliate. We got basic facials! Oh online it says the dermaplaning is 12... not 15 too. So I over paid $14. But left bc we had other errands to run. I didn't want to Karenize them at that moment but am super disappointed in the fact that they stole! It gross and everyone should know before going. Check the prices. And confirm it because thats theft! And illegal to overcharge for services not rendered!

Side note: The students were super nice and professional. They did do a great job. The y9ung man did explain it was his first and i get it. I work in the cosmotology industry. So I get it, that you gotta start somewhere. T

he girl at the desk seams unprofessional that even when another person told her the price was wrong. She rolled her eyes and was like its fine. That's just disgusting! Periodt!

Review as a customer, I went in and got my hair cut. At first it was going great, then the guy snipped 5 inches off my hair in an attempt of curtain bangs! Never returning don’t ever go there
