The issues within the school district are numerous and difficult to address in just one review. One prominent issue that needs immediate attention is the pervasive nepotism within D93. This practice creates more problems than it solves and hinders the overall functioning of the district.

In the Special Services department, there is an employee named April who does an excellent job. However, the other two individuals in the department are consistently mean and short-tempered, causing friction and further exacerbating the problems. There are numerous issues within the Special Services department, including their false claim of assigning employees where they are needed most. As a result, some children may not receive the necessary services this year due to ineffective employee placement.

The constant shuffling of staff within the department is detrimental to employees and students. Morale among the staff is low, and the recent training session was particularly awful. Many coworkers reported the negative attitudes of the Special Services employees who conducted the training.

Furthermore, there are individuals in positions such as Flex's and other roles who are ill-suited for their responsibilities. This is a clear example of nepotism and playing favorites at its worst. As a result, some employees are either quitting or actively seeking new jobs. The ones that suffer the most because of these practices are the students.

Having worked at D93 for many years, I had never considered leaving until recently. The deterioration of the work environment over the past three to four years has made it impossible to be content at D93. Favoritism is rampant, and when employees try to voice their concerns, they are immediately labeled as troublemakers and subjected to mistreatment. D93 and the Special services department do not listen to employee concerns, as they prioritize personal connections and brown-nosing. IMO

It is past time time for D93 to thoroughly reevaluate how the Special services department is managed. Action needs to be taken to address the issues of nepotism, unqualified staff, supervisors, and some teachers and its disregard for employee concerns. Only then can we hope to improve the overall functioning of Special services and the district and provide high quality services to the students.

This is roughly the 3rd time in the couple weeks that there has been lack of communication with transportation getting bus 47 kids home. My kids should be home by 315pm, called the school at 319 to ask why the my kids GPS was saying still at school. "OH transportation was suppose to send out a message. We dont know what happened to the bus." Few seconds later "oh it broke down."

Parent involvement is very important. There is much need for it.
The district also has district PTO meetings, which helps share information and needs to the individual schools.

I thought district 93 cared about bullying? But they sure proved me wrong by continuing to let Jenny be the bus driver for our kids. She picks on certain kids, bullying and belittling them. When you try to talk to the transportation department, they just ignore your call.

Black canyon middle school will do nothing about kids getting bullied. My little sister has been getting bullied there since the first tri and they still haven't done anything to the kids who are doing it. Black canyon step up your game. Your kids matter more than anything else in that school take care of them.

It's a good school bonniville. The teachers are great, they try to help you as much as possible. The building it's self is like a maze though, which makes it hard when you have class on the other side and don't know how to get there in 3 minutes. Other than that it's great. The education system works to your needs, and you have all the tools there to succeed. For the time I've been there I would definitely recommend even tho it's got a "bad" reputation.
