She approaches her teaching with the desire to help her students not only know how to play the piano, but to understand theory, dynamics, and fundamentals of music. This produces engaged students who not only obtain talent and ability, but also learn to comprehend their instrument, which encourages deeper growth and development. She is positive and supportive of each individual student’s progress and success. She is organized and professional, while maintaining the ability to create personal relationships that make the student and parent feel connected and important. My daughter has progressed greatly under her care and direction. We are so thankful for our experience at Bountiful Music Academy, and would recommend it to all.

My daughter has attended for four years and we have been very happy with our experience. Her piano teacher, Linda Clement is professional and very educated in her knowledge of the piano. Not only how to play it but also the technique and the theory. I also admire Mrs. Clement's passion in the playing of the piano. She takes it to another level of not just "playing" but truly experiencing the feeling of each and every piece. Because of this my daughter feels joy when she plays the piano. I appreciate the fact that theory and technique are focused on. This has greatly helped my daughter improve in her skills and I am sure she will be able to continue to grow. Sight reading is also emphasized as well as group practices that allow the students to interact with each other. Sometimes they learn through piano theory games or they perform for each other. This helps them become stronger in their ability to perform when they have their recitals. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a qualified piano teacher that can share in the joy of learning as your child discovers the piano.

My eight year old son has taken piano lessons from Mrs. Clement for almost a year. I appreciate her strong music education; her focus on teaching sight reading, theory, and technique; and the time she takes to accommodate my son's learning style. She provides my son opportunities to play repertoire that is challenging and fits his interests and perform pieces in group lessons as well as recitals, which he really enjoys. She also encourages her students to participate in the Federation program, which challenges my son to perfect his pieces and take pride in a judges assessment of his work. I must also add that she is very kind and patient, yet direct on what she expects from him. Mrs. Clement has been easy to work and communicate with for me and my son, manages the time well and has a very clear reward system that inspires my young pianist.

When we were looking for a piano teacher three years ago we had certain criteria in mind for our granddaughter. We were looking for a teacher with some of the following attributes:

A personable teacher who could relate to a young, willful girl that we would be raising.
A teacher who is organized and keeping the parents aware of what is required of the student.
A teacher who takes the time to teach basic theory and expects the student to know what is needed.
A teachers who helps set goals for the student and using the lesson time to fine tune and improve on pieces that the student thinks he/she knows already.
Having regular opportunities to perform in front of other students with perfected pieces of music.

We feel very fortunate in finding Mrs. Linda Clement. She MORE than fulfills our wishes for our granddaughter. She has a wonderful relationship with our granddaughter who adores her and listens to her.

Mrs. Clements is very gentle but expects a lot from her students. She listens to the student and guides her to be better. She teaches theory as well as proper technic in playing pieces. We are very happy with her and would recommend her highly.

With some teachers, you just get more for your money, time and effort into learning an instrument, and BMA is no exception. Some of Linda’s best qualities as a teacher are her patience and persistence, and her attention to detail. Linda truly cares about her students’ success. Just the other day, she helped me solve a problem with playing octaves that had plagued me for years!
