I was treated quite rudely and dismissively when I stepped in to make a good-sized food donation today. The young woman who was manning the office told me I needed to wait, though there were a couple of volunteers who could have provided me with a cart to bring in my food items. While waiting, I picked up a can off a shelf to check its expiration date to see if items that were slightly outdated could still be donated. The young woman jumped up from her chair in the office and told me I was not allowed to touch the cans. She cut me off when I tried to tell her that I was checking the date. She again told me I had to wait. I overstepped her instruction and asked for a cart, which one of the volunteers provided to me. The volunteers were not so unkind. If they had been, I would have offered a rating of 1. I truly believe the young woman thought I was there to ask for food, not to give it. If that is the case, I feel sorry for anyone who has to ask for food there. I'll think twice before I donate there again.

Speaking of the volunteers, it did seem like one was commenting about the other's relinquishing her cart to me as though she considered it to be somewhat of an imposition or something. I'm not sure why the comment was necessary. However, I did appreciate the one volunteer who did help me. She is an older lady who has helped me before. If she's the only one who can treat patrons with decency, maybe she should be in charge.

Didn't have an appointment. Was given one for a few days later. Given a bag of groceries for two. Couldn't even make spaghetti with items that had 1 mac and cheese cup and 1 mash potatoes cup. No bread just a bag of rolls. Bread was clearly seen from the door where standing. With the items, I couldn't even make one meal. You could have a can of beans for lunch and maybe a roll. Not enough food for three days, or even two days. There was no cold or frozen food even available. Nothing to drink. She said you can only come in once a month.
If this is how much and the type of items you get, not worth bothering to visit. The girl at the desk gave the impression that she didn't want to be bothered. Maybe they like families with kids better. Not the seniors in the community.
(I was with individuals needing food, these are their words.) I personally would not recommend this pantry, but it is the only public place people can get help with food. If the pantry gets government support, I suggest the government take a look more closely and use people undercover. Maybe the people who need help, will actually get help.

Volunteers were so kind and helpful, really made this a very non-embarrassing endeavor. And I got so much food that we had to create new storage in our trailer!

Always helpful, especially during a shutdown such as this. We wouldn't be able to feed a house full of 7 people on low corporate wages. We are extremely grateful to the volunteers and providers who are helping us through this lean time. Thank you all!

There is a woman currently at the front desk who is very rude to people who come in to make an appointment or orders people around very rudely. I don’t know where I can report her but I can say for sure many people feel the same way. If you’re going to work at a food pantry or any place you help people, you need to have the heart to want to help people not demand them to bring things in or tell them off that they won’t receive help. At least be understanding and have more sympathy you don’t know what the family that’s coming in to receive help is going through. I also noticed a few months back when I went she was yelling at the food pantry’s volunteers for doing certain things, that is not how you treat people who want to help! Her attitude is ridiculously rude I hope something gets done about it.

Staff is polite, respectful. There to help others get through a difficult time. Unlike other volunteers at previous pantries I have noticed and The food is plentyful unlike other pantries I have participated with.
