Looking for a great school for the right price look no further… Mr. D will change your whole mindset from the moment you walk into his classroom. At Break it Down they have your best interest at heart. They go above and beyond for their students. Nothing they won’t do to help their students achieve their goals. Even on their off days in my case. Just want to give thanks to Mr. D and Ms Tonya for all that they did for me. I can thank them enough. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to get their CDL. Not many schools will work with you on a personal level. Not here, they treat you like family!!

Mr. D is a solid teacher from start to finish. Doesn’t sugar coat anything and make sure your on top of your game before your driving test. Highly recommend his school. Couldn’t say enough good things about Mr. Dee and his program. To put it simply, without him, I wouldn’t have my CDL. After a not so great experience with a previous program, I was introduced to Mr. Dee and it was a complete breath of fresh air. From beginning to end, he was the most patient yet thorough instructor I could’ve gotten. 10/10 recommend his program if you’re looking to get your CDL fast and at a more than fair price! He’s an amazing instructor and once you walk through his doors, he will ensure you are walking out with a CDL in your hands.

My husband just received his CDL from Break it Down! Derrick was his instructor and has lots of experience in the field. My husband felt confident about testing by the end of the program. He and his team worked with my husband’s work schedule to get classes done and took care of all the paperwork on test day. Also one of the more affordable programs in the area. Say mane don’t waste your time are money going any where else! Mr.D gone get your right where you need to be in order to pass and get your CDL. He is very hands on and gone BREAK IT DOWN like the school name say. We had all type of things that push my class back. Rain days not to forget the storm that just pass. But no excuse when you train by the best you can forget the rest. 3 weeks and you can have a CDL. Say mane if you looking for a school for a good price hit my boy Mr.D up by tonight. Ijust got my CDL with break it down CDL school, I was able to pass my CDL exam on the first try.
Thanks to my instructor, Mr. D. He was very helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to get their commercial driver's license.

If you want to read a real review instead of all the fake 5 stars that he requested when he changed the name of his business, then read this one. Also, you’d be better off learning from YouTube and taking the test without having ever been in a truck than giving this guy a penny of your money.
My experience was so bad that I have filed with the Texas Attorney General’s Office.

This is the place to go if you want an unorganized business with an owner that doesn’t care if you pass or fail after he gets your money. The guy has no respect, he will majorly delay the entire process while taking no accountability for it. His equipment is junk and will constantly have issues, then he will take weeks to months to even care about getting those issues fixed. When he “teaches” you (which he will only do one time and tell you to take a video of it and study that), you have to try to make sense of things that are new while he can’t even speak proper English and naturally slurs his speech like a drunk.

I signed up for a commercial drivers license course on September 21, 2023. I was told this was a 4 week course and that it would be $2600 for the course and taking me to get my license. But the initial course took nearly 5 months because of many delays on his company.
There is a pre trip exam for the trucks, it is rather complex and the instructor barely speaks coherent English. Upon finally getting to the DPS to take the exam, I did not pass the pre tip inspection. The instructor charged me $500 to retake the test and said he would reschedule as soon as I paid him. I paid him immediately. Then he would not schedule me for a retest. He made me wait nearly two months because the truck was supposedly malfunctioning again.
I explained to him many times that my financial situation is not good. I’m trying to get a job to support a family and when I try to convey my concerns to him, he either ignored me entirely or told me he doesn’t care. Quote “We not on that level”.
After months of sitting the sidelines without any practice or assistance from the instructor, I did not pass the exam again. The only study materials I was able to have were videos of him doing the pre trip inspection at a very loud truck stop, trying to decipher his broken English. Yet again he said he would reschedule me as soon as I paid him. Never once offered any credit due to the massive amounts of delays that he was solely responsible for. I complained at this point on March 29,2024 and after what felt like pulling teeth, he offered to take me back at no charge. But he delayed majorly again and didn’t try to reschedule the exam until May 8th. No excuses, just ignored me until he felt like scheduling it. So over another month with no training, making it many months since I’d even looked at the truck. I passed the pre trip exam but did not pass the driving portion.
He said yet again that he would reschedule me asap if I paid him again. I paid him another $500 immediately and he then made me wait for an entirely new class to take the course and all have their exams before even attempting to schedule mine. Sent on May 15, 2024 and he has not even attempted to schedule me again. He is unorganized as a business, his equipment is faulty, he is not a good instructor (I watched YouTube videos and found out that I was failing the pre trip exam because he doesn’t even do it properly), and he doesn’t care about anyone’s situation but his own. After being ignored many times, I finally decided enough was enough. I requested he send me money back for wasting so much of my time and providing me with zero benefit. And though he conveniently started responding, it was only to tell me that everything was my fault before he stopped responding.
I paid $3600 and received nothing but increased financial strain due to constantly feeling like I was almost at the end of a course to get a good job, only to be perpetually delayed into scraping by to provide for over a year.
