I have been using the Buhl Library since I moved to City of Buhl in 1997. I get many hours of enjoyment & love all the Volunteers/Workers that have come and gone since 1997.
Previous poor review from Nancy Rivers must not understood how Idaho funding of City Library works by her comments.
Very mean of her to blame the person, behind the counter, trying to help her!!! Maybe she had put on her Halloween Coustume early?!?! Yes it DOES matter where your Address is Nancy Rivers!!!
This is why New people to our area can be Rude and Not KIND...
I moved here from Nevada where funding for Libraries was different and I would pay to use Buhl Library if I lived out of City!!! 💜💜💜

We moved to Buhl about 6 months ago and have enjoyed our experiences at the library. We are often informed about and invited to community events and the staff have been helpful. The selection is a bit limited, but that's to be expected with a town this size. This is a great little library.

Snotty Librarian who snapped at me when wanting to apply for a library card. If the government trust me enough to be TSA approved to fly on an airplane, I think I can be trusted enough to check out a book! And it shouldn’t matter if I live in downtown Buhl or down in the canyon with a Buhl address. I’m a Buhl resident and our taxes help fund the library. From now on I’ll just buy the book I want to read.

The staff are helpful and pleasant to interact with. The selection of books can be less than ideal but what do you expect from a small library with limited space? Interlibrary loan is available.

When did they add a new policy about having your backpack with you it's against the library policy and if so why don't they ask everyone with backpacks to leave it at the front desk why only me!? How rude!!
