This center needs to learn how to treat customers right. They are nice to you when you are new and they know they can get your dollars but towards the end of your high school things shift. Maggie, missed our meeting without apologizing and even then he blamed others instead of taking responsibility. We were a customer of almost 8 years with two kids going through high school and SAT and college applications. When my son needed just a few more hours to finish his college essays since they knew that this is the end of the journey they wanted to charge the walk in rate without an ounce of appreciation to a customer of 8 years who had also referred several families to the center. They didn't even bother to call and tell me they could not give me a discounted rate and just dropped my son from the schedule. Not the right way to treat a customer. Even if they could not offer any discount they could have picked up the phone and talked to me instead of no communication and dropping my son from the schedule. I wish someone had told me this is how I'll be treated and I would have never set foot in C2 La Crescenta center.

We are very happy with the tutoring at C2 in La Crescenta. Math went from my daughter's worst subject to her best. She even scored a 100% on her math final last semester. The tutoring helped her catch up on the subject material and then prepped her on the upcoming new material. When my daughter asked for help with Spanish, C2 was able to change her sessions the next week. So far we have seen improved grades. Thank you C2!

Coming to C2 was the best decision I ever made! The tutors here are very knowledgeable in what they teach, but what I appreciate the most is that they are so friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help their students. Since coming to C2 I saw drastic improvements in my grades in the classes I was struggling in, and besides coursework, the front desk was really helpful in providing me with all of the materials I needed to achieve my best possible SAT score. Maggie has also been incredibly helpful in assisting with the college application process and providing me with information I need to apply on time with a strong application. I am so thankful to my parents for recognizing my need for tutoring, and for choosing C2. I would definitely recommend C2 for tutoring/prep to any parents who are considering it, who want to help their kids achieve success.

C2 has been a crucial part to my success in my high school career and my college process, and because of C2's outstanding tutors, I was able to be admitted to my first choice university. We are extremely satisfied with the tutoring and the help that C2 gave to our son Evan. Prior to coming to C2, he was enrolled in another tutoring service which was highly inadequate and very impersonal. C2 was completely the opposite. The tutors all cared about my son’s learning of the concepts and helped him achieve above average scores to get into Loyola high school. We are extremely thrilled and would recommend C2 for any high school placement examination needs.

Like any other tutoring/help place, most of what you achieve is the work you put into it. But definitely, C2 did a lot in motivating me and directing me towards success and hard work. I've gone for the last couple of years for a variety of things -- math help, SAT prep, college essays -- and I have seen big improvements in all three areas. I mean, I improved my SAT score by about 100! The tutors are also extremely helpful and nice, and you can definitely tell they care about the well-being and success of the kids that come in. Overall, since coming in, I feel much more prepared academically for the future, and I'm glad I had C2 to help.

C2 is the BEST. All the teachers, front desk staff, and Maggie are all caring and supportive. They always make sure that someone is available for me when I need help. Whenever I have a session, I feel very comfortable asking questions to the tutors. They don't judge if I don't know very basic things, and are very helpful and highly qualified. Also, all of the C2 members and the other students in the study room make me feel motivated to learn and achieve higher scores/grades. Lastly, C2 also hosts webinars and other information sessions that are very helpful for college freshman applicants. I highly recommend C2 to anyone, whether you're struggling in your classes or just need the extra boost!

C2 does an excellent job at test preparation for the SAT/ACT and AP's. However, as a high school student who went every weekend for 3 years, I only saw minor results. I do believe it was partially because of my parents forcing me to go so the program was never meant for me. But, the director that I had at the time was quite aggressive and for example, antagonized my decision to want to take the ACT instead of the SAT (that she originally planned out for me).

As a student who's received multiple college acceptances from the top universities in California without the help of C2, I send a message to those who are on the edge of enrolling their children into a test prep program like this: if your child refuses to go or is not improving in their scores, there is no point in continuously enrolling in tutoring sessions at C2, even if you're nervous about their future. Not only does it create more stress for you, it creates even more stress for your child. Not all test prep programs are compatible to them and that's alright. There are many other FREE resources out there that won't cost your tens of thousands of dollars to have your child get into the university that fits them the best.
