Carbon Emery Telcom - Price, Utah

We’ve had Emery Telcom for about 1.5 years total, we had it in our first apartment & never had any issues. We moved & had River Canyon wireless because the service was already active when we moved & we definitely missed Emery Telcom the day we moved. We’ve never had any issues with the internet & with me working from home & then my husband & I being “gamers” we’ve never been unhappy. We can download a 100+Gb game in under 2 hours where it would take 5 days with River Canyon. (Literally).
Only drawback is it’s pretty pricey. But you definitely get what you pay for.

It's ok. I have a lot of problems when I stream Netflix. It freezes up for up to 30 min. TV d frozen when this happens. Hulu, Foxnow, Disney+, Prime, and all these has same issues. TV buffers all the time. I unplug router all the time. On Roku TV'S I have to go in settings- forget network- add internet again- update TV- update streaming apps one at a time! I live alone so only 1 TV at a time and 1 security camera. 2 new security cameras are unable to get on with Bluetooth! I only get internet!
Office ladies are great unless they keep overcharging you!!!

Ive been with them in East carbon for 2 years and in Price for almost a year with the local television. I have never had a problem with their service. Unlimited is great for our daughter to watch all her favorite Disney movies and not have to worry if we are going over on internet. They have worked with us on payments a few times and that is a blessing. I watched 1 movie with my hotspot on Verizon and it was 11 gigs. Yikes! Great Company! Great Technicians

I will never get service through these guys again i had it in my apartment well i moved out called them told them to disconnect my service well they didn't so for i believe like two three months they was billing me but I didn't know until I got a bill sent to my new address i called them and they said there was nothing they could do about it

I never really realized how good this service provider was until I left for a few years and came back. They were able to install in our new home very quickly and get us up and running, and the speeds are faster than any provider I was able to find in all of Salt Lake or Utah County. If you have slow speeds with these guys, you probably need to see a computer technician and see where the real issue lies!

I have never once had a problem with it, I am a hardcore gamer and I have been playing video games for years and I have never once met someone with faster and better internet than me. Extremely unreliable. Our fiber can be pretty fast, which is why we signed up for the most expensive service they offer. I've seen speeds in the 200-400mbps sometimes... Unfortunately, emery telcom will still THROTTLE your bandwidth randomly, making streaming and gaming impossible and very frustrating. I am currently seeing dial-up speeds despite resetting the router, which I usually have to do several times a day.

They started out with 2 Stars and I just took away another star because they have no one in the evenings or overnight that you can talk to about your internet. I work from home and my work hours are during the night time and so I've lost an entire day's wages because I can't get any kind of signal and if they had the kind of equipment that I knew how to reboot then I wouldn't have to try to call them. I hate a rinky dink operation like Emory Telecom they're horrible and they're only in it for the money. I pay as much here as I did in Orem and I never had any kind of problems with Utopia fiber as as my network and I never had any outages with senawave as my ISP.
