If I can give 0 stars I would, this school district has been the most horrible school experience ever! I have an autistic son that had something happen at another school so went in to the office many times and the people were never at the front desk so waiting for 5-8 minutes to find someone, then when we talked to them it was different people and they were all not nice at all, giving attitude, and wanting us out the door as fast as can be, just so rude and it appears that the decision is from high up and the superintendent just does not care at least about my son, I got the health department to come with me and she is amazing if you need help get them!! I have been in other school districts in Utah nothing like this!! So disappointed they don’t have good schools here we went to 3 school his, and 2 others to see what we needed to do and nothing! I got told on a call what do you want me to do? That was from a principal of the autism school…yes I called her in distress but he was not safe at his other school💔 He’s back at the school and they can’t confirm if anything happened as the rooms don’t have Cameras just the hallways… it happened in a classroom not the hallway! If it happened in the classroom and they have cameras this would not be an issue. If you can don’t move here we just moved in June of this year and 3 days in to school it started he was angry and said he is scared to go to school, but with his school I can say is the receptionist both of them have been amazing and so helpful they are amazing!! This would have been so hard without them being as amazing as they are!

If I could give a zero star review I would. Nothing against the schools or the teachers. But the superintendent is the worst I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t care to address actual concerns. This is a power struggle, and it should be about the kids and what makes them the most comfortable. If I would’ve known this is what we would be dealing with I would’ve moved to a totally different county. Every school district my kids have been in has been nothing short of great. I can’t say this about carbon county. The standards of having a great school district are low and needs unmet. Rude and incompetent is all I can say. If you are moving to this county, highly recommend homeschooling.

This school district has so many problems, I am not even sure where to begin. I truly regret my child going to these schools. My child is so far behind the rest of the country's 10th graders , he may never catch up. Teachers continually complaining about over crowding. Yet they shut down east carbon high school and force teens to bus 30 miles every morning.
