Just did the 3 day CDL Class A Manual class with CDL Test Truck in Royce City, TX. Emma is a fantastic instructor and held everyone to the standard! Definitely want to know how to Drive and Back a trailer as not a ton of seat time. But they definitely get you prepared. Gotta do the work and study to pass, but can be done first try on the written, practical for air brakes, pre trip, backing and road tests. It’s fast paced so show up ready to go!

Yes, it's alot of studying, but they hand you all the tools needed to be equipped to pass the test. Everything they provide is exactly like the test. Good luck to everyone signing up.

Went there in 2023 to upgrade from a class B to a class A. They give you everything you need to pass the tests. Only problem is the lady that scheduled the road test scheduled my road test on a day I could not make it even though I told her and Billy I could not do it that day. So I was dumb enough to pay another 350$ for another road test, and after I could not get a hold of her or Billy anymore. Im not sure if they blocked me or what. But they owe me a road test. Billy seems like a good dude so I have no idea what the issue is with me.

Understand reviews can go both ways. You’re obviously very new & are not aware of the blacklist in the CDL industry. A site all companies, oilfield, transport, hotshot, railroad, warehouses, commercial lending & insurance, etc., use when considering either hiring a driver or giving a contract to an independent owner as well as loans and insurance. No job or contract can’t afford a truck or insurance payment therefore you’ll never get a commercial loan or insurance. If a person ever gets listed on this site then they will never get hired or a contract. That person is blackballed forever.

My advice is remove the review before noon tomorrow and take your CDL and go make some money or if you choose not then you will be placed on this list and you’ll see you’ll never get a good job or contract once on the list. The ball is in your court. I hope you make the right decision. If not, then you will suffer more having a CDL and not being able to use it than we will with the review. You have until noon tomorrow.
THEY DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW WHAT THEY DO. It’s a scam, they take your money.

This place is definitely not a school (which is something that they themselves state), they are severely understaffed (1 instructor for 20+ students), they didn't have enough working trucks for all the students that they have, and you do have to pair up with other students to study the material that they give you to get any meaningful pre-trip practice, but they DO give you all the necessary study material and skills to pass the test as long as YOU put forth the effort and you REALLY want to pass. I can honestly say that I would not have passed my test we're it not for this place!

Sidenote: Emma, the instructor, is great! And she deserves a raise!

CDL Test Truck was an awesome experience Christina and the instructors were the best. They were very helpful and made me feel really comfortable behind the wheel of the semi. The owner Billy is the funniest with his past experience and stories with all types of people that came and gone from all over Texas and some even come back with friends and family women and men.Each day you show up puts you that much closer with the knowledge on pre trip backing driving and all the other skills you need to get your CDL license. The price is incredible no other CDL learning centers are doing it like CDLTEST Truck Thanks so much guys for helping me further my trucking career.

Awesome Experienced CDL Instructors! 3 days of training is pretty tough but the trainings not over! They got me the skills test within a couple days!!

The trainers erika and rick are good! They will teach you what you need to know! But there are limited on how much they can teach you! I honestly recommend you to go somewhere else because they will take your money and you will end with not Cdl! I been waiting for my appointments for weeks at this point i gave up with this company definitely not recommend And be Careful with KRISTINA She's definitely a fake person she will take your money and when you need her she wont do nothing for you! Their "office" is on a table pool is where everyone meet before the pre trip! No real office! The driving portion is gonna be at a Church no real driving just teaching you how to park etc. be Careful and Good Luck .
