0 stars if I could!!! I don't understand how an organization like this does not help people when they need it. I have been calling for days now and cannot get through to someone. Very unprofessional and disgusting. Unfortunately my career lies in their hands!!! This is absolutely ridiculous. Serious change needs to happen immediately!!!! I will also be reporting them to the BBB.

Horrible service. I do understand that the calls and emails regarding issues with all the entities involved can be a lot, but waiting 2-3 months for a response is horrible. They neither return calls nor emails. I am not sure why they are even involved when they do not provide an effective service. I wish I had a better report but I don't, and speaking to some of my colleagues I am hearing the same thing, HORRIBLE SERVICE that frustrates the clinician.

Steep fees and no service: these are problems that can come from a monopoly. Why does the CCE even need to approve my application for the NCE? My professors already verified I am qualified to take it. Why does anyone need to verify that I can take it? Wouldn't Pearson win by just collecting people's money directly and testing as many people as possible? Yet the CCE collects my money and puts me in limbo with zero communication before sending approval to Pearson. It doesn't seem to be based on a first come, first served model--several of my classmates who applied around the same time as me we approved immediately or within days, but I've been waiting over a month. No response to emails or calls. I'm not sure when I'll be able to take this test, and I have literally no recourse.

One of the least helpful places with the most confusing website. I don't believe they actually want anyone to take these tests and become licensed. It's a joke.

Most recently I was contacted via postal mail about missing components from my application. However, I returned those items and called for an update, but received no answer. After contacting them via email, I received an update minutes later. It's challenging trying to reach them by phone, but email and postal mail are the best forms of communication. I worked with Sherry and she was exceptional!

This organization gate keeps credentialing for professionals. They evade phone calls and e-mails and offer little to no resolve when issues with credentialing arise. My licensing exam was terminated due to technical difficulties and the CCE stated I qualified for a retest, but had to wait 90 days from my exam to retest. This is the policy when those who complete the test do not pass. I was never given a fair opportunity to complete the exam in full as Pearson was the company who terminated it. This whole ordeal has restricted my from being able to get licensed in ANY state although I have all other requirements met. How ironic that this board is supposed to advance credentialing excellence yet it seems like their mission is to hinder the credentialing experience. I will never take another PearsonVue test again, and if there was any way for me to get licensed without endorsement from the CCE and NBCC I would have done it immediately. This whole issue has been absolutely ridiculous. I had to find a board member on LinkedIn to finally get a response back. That was 3 weeks after my initial requests. Had I not found her, I don’t know if I would have gotten answer at all. I’m currently trying to appeal the CCE’s decision. I filed a complaint with the BBB and plan to consult legal support if this continues.

I received a request for renewal of my ACS certification on May 17, 2022. I am unable to access the screen or recover my information using my two email addresses. I sent an email on June 1, 2022, and to date I have not received a reply. In addition, the email mentioned late fees after June 30, 2022. It’s now June 22, 2022 , and I still have been received a reply. It would be helpful to have a active phone number to call for assistance.

Had to pay these people to take my exam, said that they never received my transcripts even though the clearinghouse sent me an email stating they had received and opened my transcripts on 4/14/21. No one will call me back or respond to my requests. How can this be an organization placed in charge of people's mastered degreed careers? I am astounded by the lack of customer service. They have had 350$ of my money since April and I still cannot sign up for the test. Complete scam.
