My oldest daughter has been in the Sandy Studio since she was 4 and she absolutely loves it. Karate is her safe space and favorite time of the week.
It has been so fun to watch her grow over the last two years. She has become such a respectful, responsible and strong little girl and I know Koleton, Nick and the staff at BLK Sandy have a lot to do with that.

We drive to the Sandy Studio from West Jordan twice a week, passing other Dojo’s along the way because we love the Sandy Studio THAT MUCH. It is such a welcoming environment and all the staff and parents there feel like family.

If you’re looking to put your kids into Martial Arts, I highly recommend checking out Bobby Lawrence Karate in Sandy. You couldn’t ask for better instructors than Koleton and Nick.

Absolutely LOVE this studio and the experience/education they provide. Koleton is much more than an instructor, he's a mentor, leader, and a true friend.
BLK provides a great place for myself and my two teenagers to come learn the art. They're patient, thorough, and fair. If you're on the fence about a karate studio, don't hesitate to choose BLK!

My 6-year-old son has been going to BLK in Sandy twice a week since last October, and in just a few months, this formerly reserved child has built up his confidence and is already working on earning his orange belt! I have continuously been impressed with how great Koleton and Nick are with the kids, both in teaching them the martial arts techniques and building up their self-esteem. Even in a class of 20 or more, each child gets plenty of personal attention when needed, and is given the tools and instruction to master the skills they need to be more autonomous. I am excited to see how far my boy goes with this, and know that no matter if he sticks with karate or shifts focus to another sport or hobby in the future, that he will have had an incredible experience here. I highly recommend this studio for any boy or girl who needs more structure and physical education in their lives!

My kids love karate and their karate instructors!! It is a great place for kids to learn much more than karate. My kids have learned great social skills, confidence, how to be more courteous, and much more. Koleton and Nick are great. They love kids and can really relate to them. I wouldn’t take my kids to any other karate studio!

My son has been training with Kolton and Nick since he was 5 (he is now 9), We loved it so much that my daughter is has been going for the last two years also. We love that our children are learning respect and discipline and having so much fun in the process! All the instructors are amazing and we love seeing our kids progress. Definitely recommend!

The best instructors you could ever find👌 seriously the most AMAZING place. I would give more stars if i could. The sandy Studio (specifically Koleton and Nick), has changed my life! I love that they teach you to stand up for yourself and not put up with bullies regardlessof circumstances. Their values are spot on.
