Birthday Charter September 2023: From start to finish our group had an amazing time. Dock parking was super convenient to the boat. Captain Stephen was super responsive and informative before our trip. On the day of the trip Stephen was super chill and accommodating for all our needs. Swimming in the ocean was definitely the highlight of our day. It was the hottest day in LA, but on the water the temperature was perfect. We will def book this boat again in the future. Highly recommend Stephen as a captain. Best boat vibes to date.

Captain Gustavo's boat was top notch! My friends and I were out on it for five hours and we had the best time. There was ample room to sit on the boat and we loved the bluetooth speaker set up. Rick & Miles were amazing as well. Thank you all for a great day out on the water! Can't wait to do it again.

We had a group of 11 in this boat, and had an awesome time with Captain Stephen. He brought his camera aboard and took some great pics of the group, and was super accommodating all the way through. The boat is rad- our group fit perfectly on it (not to crowded), and we had fun eating lunch, sailing and swimming in the water. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent service! The company is very organized, answered all my questions, confirmed my boat rental the day before, and Sebastian was an exceptional Captain. Safety was a top priority as it was the weekend of Hurricane Hilary. Captain Sebastian confirmed we would be safe and we had a fabulous time. I definitely would charter from this company again!

We rented a yacht for my friends birthday.

Pros: We were able to sail around the ocean , listen to our music, and we saw a couple of dolphins.

Con: The captain made us uncomfortable the entire time. He kept walking around the boat staring at us and taking pictures and videos, mind you all we are all women (3 of us). It was very unsettling. Also I’m not sure what he took the photos for because he didn’t offer to send them to us or mention they’d be featured on their website or anything so I’m sure they were for personal use which is extremely creepy. We kept having to try and have fun while watching out for him to not be creepy!

Our captain was Richard Andrews.

We also started sailing 30min after our scheduled time and he tried to take us back to the dock on time until we told him that would not be fair since we started a whole 30min after schedule.

The boat was really old and dirty. The room in the back was I guess used for storage b/c it was filled with junk.
I would not recommend using this company.

My husband and I were lucky enough to sail with Charters 2000 just this month. The boat was well maintained and docked in a very nice part of the Marina. We had a nice tour of the Harbor on our way out to sail. We saw sea lions, lots of seabirds and even a dolphin.....right in the harbor!!!! Once out into the open ocean, we kicked back and listen to music and enjoyed the view all along the coastline. It was a beautiful Fall day. They provided Kayaks and Paddle Boards and we even had the option to get in the water, but we opted for the comfortable feelings of just sailing along, soaking up the sun and relaxing. The Captain, Gustavo was fun and friendly and we would use them again in an instant.
It looks as though the boat can take quite a few people above and below deck so I image a Birthday or Family outing would be perfect. We were very pleased with everything from getting in touch with them, to saying good bye to them after our great day of sailing. 5 Stars!!
