This place is disgusting!! It’s filled with bedbugs and cockroaches. When i first walked in to the lobby there was trash and crumbs everywhere. The visiting room had not been cleaned from their dinner, there were sauces all over tables, and a foul odor. Things never seem to happen in a timely manner. Every time my family goes to visit they are behind on schedule and we must wait. I’m not sure how this is supposed to be a an environment to help youth live a better life when the staff cannot even keep these children under control, maintain cleanliness, or follow a schedule. I am extremely disappointed as i thought this facility was suppose to “save children”. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!

Only want kids who pad their stats for funding, even the supervisors openly discuss it in front of children in the shelter. First sign of emotional problems, they kick kids out. This place only exists to grab grant money

CSI provides incredible support to foster youth and parents. You may not envision the initial licensing specialist becoming a key part of your village and support system but that would be only if you hadn't yet met Michelle. Her heart for her work and the families of CSI is truly unparalleled, she made our first weeks as foster parents leaps and bounds easier by being a familiar person we could lean on as we learned to navigate the waters of fostering. Jordan is a foster care specialist who is truly child first. Everything Jordan does, she is led by what is in the best interest of the children she is serving. Samara is infredoble at developing relationships with the children and families she is serving. We are lucky to have a place like CSI in our community.

My experiences with CSI have mainly been with the early childhood education center. My daughter is currently in one of the toddler rooms and we have been very pleased with her education and care. I love that the center is NAEYC certified, the educators are experienced and qualified, education plans are made for each child and updated regularly, the center regularly communicates with parents, and they stay up to date with the latest developments and research in early chlidhood ed.

Very disappointed overall. My son was placed for 30 days by the judge to have a “reality check” During those 28 days my son reported cursing, swearing, yelling at him by several staff members. I encouraged just riding it out and getting through it doing what was necessary. He only received 1 pass home for 4 hours in those 28 days. Somehow managed to get a cell phone in which is unclear me me since they search upon dismissal and arrival. Clearly need to improve there. Once it was discovered my son had a cell phone the Staff member (Dinkamike Thuch) physically grabbed my son while trying to take a phone from him. When I brought it to other staff attention was not investigated or even taken seriously. When I stated I would be pressing charges I was laughed at by a white male and female staff member (names unknown) and told “would not hold up” and “good luck” This is supposed to be a rehabilitation center for children not where they get physically assaulted by adults. I will say Day time manager Justin was present upon my arrival and did not part take in the conversation however removed himself which I can respect.

My stepdaughter has been using their counseling services due to problems at her mother's home and suffering from depression and anxiety. She's been talking with Taylor who my husband had to get set up because her mother refused to allow her counseling but now after talking to Taylor for a year her father's not informed anymore he is pushed back aside like he doesn't matter. Her mother is very manipulative and as a professional I would presume they would know the difference. If you're looking at getting your child help this is not the place to do it since their counselors Do not treat the parents equally.

Child Saving Institute provides amazing resources for our community unfortunately the early childhood development program is not one of those... I have been taking my children to CSI for the last 2.5 years and have tried to work with the Site Coordinator, the Director and the Executive Director on many different policies and issues that were never addressed. CSI's early childhood development program has the facilities and the organizational backing to be the standard bearer of childcare but instead the program lacks the leadership needed to fully realize its potential. The inability to hire and retain quality educators leads to inconsistent care for the children attending the center. Consistent care and routines are key for developmental growth and the lack of consistency results in CSI hiring temps to cover shifts in classrooms. This leads to chaos and poor behavior in the children as well as stress on the full-time teachers. I would not recommend the early childhood program at Child Saving Institute.
