I am student and a mother of two, even though I live over an hour away I enrolled my children since I was eligible for the grant that will cover tuition but don’t be deceived and be prepared to pay hundreds in late arrivals fees that they charge even if you are a one minute late. Yes one minute, I called trying to resolve but sadly zero consideration and understanding from the staff. Also both of the children were excited to attend in the beginning of the year but after a few months were crying and refusing to go. Overall not a nice experience and I honestly would not recommend this place.

So this has been nothing less than the best experience for both, both out girls who went through the entire program and us the parents. Best holistic approach to teaching providing a solid foundation for our two girls. Great team of educators (not care givers) . Recommend anyone to stop by and meet the teachers and future teachers in the making to see if this meets your vision. I am sure it will!

Today made me think of this special place because my daughter was just admitted into the gifted program going into second grade in the Miami Dade County Public School system. She is a very bright girl, but we owe so much to the great program at Children’s Creative Learning Center (CCLC) for giving her the academic start that she needed.

This school ticks all the boxes. CCLC is run extremely well by Silvia the director and Janice who now heads the educational side, and I cannot say enough good things also about the teachers and staff who are truly the best at what they do aside from being very friendly and well trained. The center is run in conjunction with Florida International University (FIU) early childhood education program, so it also serves as a training ground for the next generation of teachers who are assistant teachers at the center. They are on the forefront of education science.

The center employs a teaching tactic that is highly effective but is not as well-known where the students learn through playing and doing. Students are also never forced to do things but guided to do the right things. My wife and I learned a lot from Janice, Michelle, and Becky who were her teachers for the three years that she was there and the great assistant teachers like Maddison. They have mandatory observation times so that parents can learn from what they do but we have had countless sit-downs with them to learn more since their teaching style is so effective, yet so new to us. Students are also tought through logic and are forced to think creatively and not just memorize. They are also asked to express themselves through speech and art.

The students here are exposed to so much more than just a great well-rounded educational program. The center also takes full advantage of all the services that FIU offers. They regularly take field trips or are being visited by the FIU police department, fire department, and others. Students also learn about many other topics such as reduce, reuse, recycle, the compassion for caring for a pet since every classroom had at least one live pet animal, the importance of nature and the role it plays in our lives using the butterfly garden, and so much more. This is so much more than just a daycare or preschool.

Honestly, you would be doing your child a big disfavor by not putting them in this school as early as possible if you are eligible to do so. This is a private school, but they will work with parents who can’t afford to pay the tuition. There was also a waiting list when we tried to enroll but fortunately, she got in.

Trust your child's education and future to the professionals here and do not look back.
