Pro: Your child is generally safe from harm here. When the cameras work you can observe your child's room.

Con: Too expensive. This is especially frustrating when you realize you are getting a sub-par service, and the teachers are paid horribly and treated poorly by the horrible management.

Employees are not trained properly--from the receptionists to the teachers. Good teachers can't get out fast enough, and management does nothing to keep them and everything to push them away.

This place is too chaotic for children. On any given day your child will be in a new room with a new teacher with kids 2-3 years apart from them. There's never a solid schedule and naps are basically impossible because they aren't structuring the day properly.

I was very glad to get my child out of here and into not just a more affordable daycare where he has a structured schedule, lots of planned activates, gets a solid nap, and loves his teacher.

I can’t say enough about the learning center in north Rockwall. The facility is clean, the staff greats you with a smile and they genuinely love their jobs. My parents owned child care centers for over 30 years so I know the ropes. Children’s lighthouse of Rockwall is an excellent! My son loves it and has learned so much since enrollment. Mrs. Manjit is the greatest sweetest teacher! I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to leave this one. If I could give them 10 stars I wouldn’t hesitate!

Only here to give an honest review because I either see reviews raving about this place or trashing it. And it's neither for us. Our child was here for two years and in that two years we saw a huge decline in quality of care. We had really high highs where our child was happy and then we saw really low lows where we knew something was off. I would say overall it was just an issue with complacency, negligence and them not always prioritizing training and consistency across the board. Eventually we had to follow our gut and choose another location. My advice would be to look at texas.gov website and look up all of their reports and non-compliance that has occurred over the last year or so. I'm not saying we hated this place, but I am saying that we were very disappointed towards the end and we hated to leave after all the time we had invested emotionally here with our child. Just do your research and if you do choose this location and you're a parent like me that is always paying attention, you will have to always stay on top of them and keep track. Unless you get lucky with amazing teachers (which we did, and that's what kept us there so long) I advise you always stay on top of it.

Great, caring staff. Our daughter has Down syndrome and they have been very good with her and keeping her included with her peers. Excellent facilities and very close to Hamm elementary if your child goes there.

It was really nice to see there was no hand washing before eating almost everyday. Reported twice but nothing changed. Is it a state law? We are happy to see a lot of children are still there without any issues. This may make them strong enough to survive. We love the style of their management and the commission to make the world better.

We have had a great experience with Children’s Lighthouse in Rockwall for the past 8 years with our oldest daughter and the past 5 years with our youngest daughter! They have made some good friends, but most importantly, have been cared for by the teachers in the classrooms and the office staff!
