I recently had the opportunity to train at Cobrinha for myself and for my 6 and 4 year olds. As someone who has visited several jiu jitsu gyms, I was eager to see how this one compared.

The facilities at Cobrinha are top notch. The mats are clean and well-maintained, providing a safe environment for training.

Professor Hector leads most of the classes and has a unique ability to break down complex techniques into easily understandable steps. The attention to detail and personalized feedback make each class highly valuable.

The class structure is well-organized, with a variety of classes available for all skill levels. There are beginner classes that focus on fundamentals, advanced classes for more experienced practitioners. And open mat sessions for sparring. They provide both morning and evening classes for adults and kids.

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by both the staff and fellow students. The son and daughter at first were scared but the other kids definitely helped them out.

Overall, it’s safe to say this is our home now and I would recommend this gym to any one looking to learn self-defense, compete or build a friendship.

I had an amazing experience at Cobrinha Las Vegas. Professor Hector was incredibly friendly and welcoming, even though we had just met. He went out of his way to give us valuable tips during our camp for the World Masters, which made a huge difference.

The training environment here is top-notch—safe training partners, a lot of fun, and high-level jiujitsu. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to train in a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Great experience at this gym. I was vacationing in LV the 1st week of Oct. I contacted the gym a few days prior. Excellent communication from them. I was greeted at the front desk by Professor Hector at 10am class. His class was excellent and I felt welcomed by everybody. I will be back the next time I am in LV.

My 6 year old daughter started training here about a year ago. My family has been more than impressed with the program and the investment they make to the kids. The coaching is top tier and we have truly been welcomed in as family. Professor Hector spends time with the kids to help them develop and become the best versions of themselves.

Started off as a good Bjj for my son. It tailed off quickly. Coach Gloria cared about the kids, but Coach David is a different story. Professor Frank is a good coach, but they have too many students that pull guard and not enough room to grapple. I get pulling guard is part of the sport, but for self-defense, it's really not smart to allow. In a street fight, no one will pull guard. They also charge you for a month if you choose to cancel.
