I would highly recommend Patrick to anyone looking for an incredible teacher who wants to help them grow and learn. I have been taking the Blender class, along with the Mcreator class for modding Minecraft with Patrick for the past 6 months and have had such a wonderful time learning different techniques.

I specifically enjoy his teaching style, he is kind, helpful and goes in depth about all topics. One thing in particular that stands out to me is when he was teaching me how the animation tools work in Blender. I was animating two fighter jets to have a dogfight and at one point a jet zipped away. I asked Patrick what had happened and he walked me through the steps, then asked me how I would fix the problem so I had a better idea of how to do it on my own.

It has been such an amazing experience to be able to be taught by Patrick, I would highly recommend taking any of his classes!

CodeRev is great. We've enjoyed having our kids work with the instructors over and over. They're flexible, knowledgeable, and great with the kiddos. I recommend checking them out.

My son attended the in person camp and loved it. He came home excited to go back again and learn more about coding in Roblox and was able to continue working on his projects at home. We will be signing up again this summer.

I can't say enough good things about CodeREV and their awesome staff. My daughter and many of her friends always look forward to their twice weekly classes there. We especially love the owner, Evan, and Jim Pike, who teaches grades 2-8 math using Minecraft. They've been a bit busy, lately, with summer camps, but nevertheless my daughter is getting the individualized attention she needs as she learns to code. I was also happy to hear they're coming to her charter school to teach in the fall.

My 2nd grade daughter has been coming to the MathCraft class at CodeRev for the last 6 months or so. She LOVES it and looks forward to going every week. She tells me she loves getting ahead and learning concepts she's not yet touched on at school. Mostly, I think she's having fun while she's learning. And Captain, her instructor is fantastic! They are flexible with scheduling and a pleasure to work with.

Both my girls enjoyed their camp at the Del Mar Torrey Pines High School.
Each student was provided a station and help was always available. The staff left a great impression on my kids because they learned a new skill everyday. The crew was knowledgeable, professional, and fun. My daughters were able to creatively showcase their work at the end. Each child was proud to see what they have accomplished . Thank you for inspiring our kids.

Compare to the quality they provided, the camp is not worth it at all! We have three parents registered this camp together and we all shared the same feeling we had the very dissatisfying camp experience here.1.The unfair pricing system. Early birds pay more fees than the Late Gators. We surprisingly found out three of us paid different amount for the same camp. Two early registrants paid $691/each (plus tax)while the latter one did $70 less. They did refund us the difference after we requested. However, we don’t think most of the parents will have chance to find out the different price CodeRev charges for different kids. 2.Very unprofessional operation. It seems like they temporarily rent a room behind the front desk of a building. The sign and everything look temporary. All the kids have to stay in a same room to do all their stuffs . And the teacher is not ready until the substitute works till the third day.3. Mixing 6 grader with kids from much younger category in the same group. Feel sorry for my daughter she had to waste lots of time waiting for the much younger kids to catch up. Seemed they had two teachers working in the room. However, my kids told me sometimes the teacher was not sufficient to take care of all the kids and my daughter didn’t get enough instructions as the teacher was too occupied and busy with younger kids and multiple programs.4. One of my friends complained the 30 mins recess is too long. 5.What kids learned doesn't match what they showed In the promo video. My son registered the Rev Robot because he thought he would be introduced how to use remote controller to control the robot as showed in the promo video. Unfortunately, by the end of the camp, he was told we had to pay for one more week to start the part of the remote controlling and they were not old enough to be instructed the content yet . My son was so disappointed as he didn’t feel he learned as it showed in the video.

I shared my feedback on the first and second day to the owner ,Evan and requested for the improvement or the refund. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any improvement and he was not responsive except the substitute called with no solution.

Anyway, I am writing this review on behalf of three moms who had dissatisfying experience with this camp. I feel bad for them as I recommended this one to them and persuaded them to join when they felt it was too pricy.

If you have higher expectation for the camp at $691/ week, none of us recommend this one to you.We have been working with lots of camps before and we know how the professional one works. Obviously, CodeRev is not the one.
