As a client of different hair schools, Collectiv
Academy in Sandy has the best overall experience. Students are trained to interact with the clients in a professional atmosphere. They are encouraged to help each other and set the tone for a positive experience. Instructors are very attentive to students and allow them the opportunity to promote learning.

Addison G. did my hair phenomenally with the input of the instructor (Ariana). She was able to decide exactly what was needed for my hair based on my hair type and her knowledge. She consulted with me and peers to achieve the best overall result.

As a client of a SCHOOL expectations cannot be held to a high standard due to being in an educational environment. It’s not always about the end result, but about the experience you had when you were there. Thank you Brinley, Ireland, and Evie for helping Addison G. achieve this look.

Absolutely love this school. I went here thinking I was going to get just a classic cut, but the instructor Scott gave me a better vision of what would fit my face and my personality. He really really did a great job. His vision was what I I want it was it it’s totally me. I’m so happy Serena who did my hair was so amazingly fun to talk to to get my point across too. she was just so amazing and she just did an absolutely fabulous Am so pleased with the outcome of my haircut absolutely highly recommend the school their professional they don’t cut corners. They take their time and it’s just real fabulous my my service and the haircut I couldn’t have asked

Meg did an amazing job! My hair needed her more than I realized. She took her time To make sure she was doing a perfect job, but without taking too long. She was very knowledgeable, but still was not shy to verify with the instructor to make sure she was giving the absolute best care. I have been to many salons and also completed beauty school years ago, so I understand the process, and can really appreciate a cosmetologist that cares so much, is knowledgeable, and executes well. She listened to what I did not want and what I did want and executed immaculately. Thank you, Meg! You are amazing!

So pleased with my experience at Collectiv! Sydney did an amazing job! I tasked her with an apparently challenging cut, but it turned out exactly like I wanted. The instructors were patient and always available to make sure things were going smoothly. It did take quite a bit longer than I expected, but I'm not mad. 😊
