The facility itself is nice. Staff is nice. I do swimming with my little one and it is miserable. The air is cold. The ground is cold. The water is cold. She usually loves the water but when it's cold she doesn't want to do anything.

We liked his swim teacher. BUT THEY CANCELED HALF OF HIS CLASSES! The first time they extended it to the next week. The second time they called a few minutes before class actually started and said they were canceling and NOT extending out the class again and NOT refunding. The THIRD time they canceled (the make-up class) they didn't even call! And did not even give a reason. Imagine taking a 1 year old to class, in his swimsuit early in the morning, just to be turned away. We're just severely disappointed. We were excited for swim classes but I don't know if we could ever trust the rec center again. We'd expect 3 classes comped next time and NONE of them canceled.

Went there for a baby shower. Lady at desk was very pleasant. Very clean. Bathrooms were very clean. Parking for disabled Aunt was at the side of building and still not the greatest.

For having just had a “million dollar” renovation the place is pretty dismal and should be audited to see where all that money went. Hot tub is pathetic tiny, tiles are missing, ceiling tiles damaged, chlorine is very heavy, men’s locker room constantly reeks of pee. Shortened weekend hours. Not impressed at all.

Amazing place just wish their red light room had a better red light system... Very clean place, handicap parking right up front. Kind and knowledgeable staff. Their stream room is amazing and does the job very wet and steamy and the sauna is nice and dry and hot. The pool is just the right temp and the jacuzzi is great for those achy muscles.i have very severe anxiety so I go when there isn't many people, so mornings are great for people with social anxiety and severe ptsd like mine I also have an extremely bad spine so I only really use the pool because my Drs said no exercise but the pool. however I've looked in the weight room and it's very clean and the shower room is very clean that's very important to me as well but I can only speak for the ladies area. Hope this helps someone like myself. I don't really see reviews from people who talk about their issues and wish I did so I'd know more places in the community I felt better waking into because I have such a hard time leaving my house because of them. Have a very blessed day

This place is chaos since the remodel and there's just too many kids to actually go have a decent experience working out. Also I have just been walking in and working out cause the back door is unlocked and I haven't renewed my subscription but there's no one to talk to cause the front office is all torn apart and everything smells like pee. I got a membership at gold's for the time being until they get their ish together. Should get better when ISU finally gets their pool fixed and all the little monkeys can get swim lessons over there

A welcoming site for fitnessminded and fun-loving people! The swimming pool is my favorite in town. The rock climbing is awesome but needs expanded hours of operation. Great classes for young and old, nice new weight room, racquetball courts, basketball court and friendly staff...a compliment to the City of Pocatello!

The Pocatello Rec center is being remodeled, and so far, what has been done looks amazing. Very friendly staff, clean facility, and a great variety of classes/activities offered. My son has taken swimming lessons for the last 2 years here. The swimming pool is a little cold, but my son still seems to enjoy them and has learned a lot.
