Small community really pulls together to enrich the betterment of our children and neighbors. School has an excellent preschool program and special education for children who might otherwise fall behind by not receiving extra assistance. Everyone is friendly and helpful. All the children receive hot meals at no cost to parents. For people who are in need the school received grant money in 2017-2018 for assistance with school clothes,shoes and supplies. Transportation services available to all students including preschoolers. The school is secure and no one can enter without passing through the front office and signing in, the door must be opened inside the office by a staff member. Parents are welcome to sit in classroom and observe and teachers are very open to communicate with parents about their children.

Concho, Arizona, the town that everyone thinks is just apart of Show Low because it's so small. The same can be said for Concho Elementary, the home of the colts. I went there in 2011 for four months for my 3rd grade year. It's a small school so don't expect much. The eighth grade was a little out of control with smoking in the bathrooms but it's Concho, so don't be surprised. Small school in a small town in a small area. The teachers and the principal care about you, mostly because there's 15 kid GRADE LEVELS so they get to know you, but still. It's a solid three out of five stars. (The Concho coin currency was cool, I'll give it that)
