We can't say enough good things about Cornerstone Montessori. Our children have truly flourished under the care and guidance of their amazing teachers. One of the biggest reasons we transitioned from a traditional daycare center to a Montessori school was the expertise of the staff—nearly all are trained in early childhood education and the Montessori approach. This specialized knowledge is evident in how lessons are conducted, how children are spoken to, and the overall learning environment. We love being part of the Cornerstone community, and the dedication of the staff and management (Dana and Jen are fantastic!) makes following the school calendar well worth it.

Our family has had incredible experiences at Cornerstone Montessori. Three of our children have been in three different classrooms at the school - infant, toddler and primary - and the teaching staff is phenomenal. They pour so much love and learning into each child, helping them navigate a unique, enriching educational experience. Every member of the Cornerstone staff is caring, compassionate and kind, and I consider our family so lucky to have Cornerstone Montessori as the "home away from home" for our babes. I have only positive, glowing remarks about the school, the way they care for children, and their Montessori curriculum. They go above and beyond to support each family that attends and we are so very grateful for the work that they do.

We’ve attended Cornerstone for almost two years now, and Dana, the owner, is one of the most caring individuals I’ve ever met - towards her staff, students, and parents. The Elkhorn community is SO lucky to have her and her program! Her and her staff have alway been available to us when needed - always understanding and flexible, with the children at the forefront of their decisions.

It’s obvious to us that our daughter looks forward to going to school daily - the lessons she is taught and activities she gets to take part in are so fun for us to hear about!

We will be SO sad when we outgrow Cornerstone, but we feel so lucky to have the opportunity to send our children here while we can! Truly the best!!

We have been at Cornerstone for over 2 years now and we continue to be impressed with how professional, caring, and amazing each and every teacher is. We are very thankful for the care, dedication, patience, and love the Cornerstone team shows on a daily basis.

When we first started at Cornerstone, we lived in Downtown Omaha. Although it was quite the drive to Elkhorn each day, we felt it was the right place because of the people. We made the drive from Downtown to Elkhorn each day for 2 years because they have been so wonderful. Thank you to the Cornerstone team, you are truly appreciated.

We started our first daughter at Cornerstone Montessori a few months after her 3rd Birthday. Previously she was at an in-home facility with 5 or 6 other children. Since starting Cornerstone she has thrived and is more comfortable talking to other adults and children in new social situations which is new for her. She has been there for 8 months now and her excitement for learning and going everyday continues to grow.

The teaching staff is always giving updates in person, and I love the brightwheel App they use for updates. The team there has been so amazing and accommodating for us through children’s sicknesses and even unexpected family emergencies. We started our second daughter just after her first birthday and we will be sending our third child directly to Cornerstone and not to a direct family member (which is new for us). I feel 100% confident she will be loved on and cared for. I cannot thank the Cornerstone Team enough for all they do!

My oldest two daughters have been attending Cornerstone since September 2020 and my newborn will begin in August. We have been nothing short of impressed with the care they have received.

My oldest started K this past year and is thriving academically thanks to Ms. Jen and the staff at Cornerstone. They take the time to sit one on one with kids to complete their very own number book and sound book as well as incorporating so many educational experiences for the kids. As a local elementary teacher I have been so impressed and thankful for the teachers and the work they do preparing kids for elementary school.

Miss Dana and the staff at Cornerstone are the most sincere and caring group of people. They have handled all of uncertainties of covid with absolute professionalism and wonderful communication.

Most importantly, my girls LOVE going to Cornerstone. They truly care for these kids like they are family. My daughter loves her teachers so much that she tries to coordinate outfits with them and asks me if we can invite them over to our house at least once a week. 🥰

Something that I think speaks volumes about Cornerstone is teacher turnaround, or lack of. Since starting Cornerstone my girls have had the same teachers. You can tell from the moment you walk in that the teachers are passionate about kids, love their job, and that they are appreciated by Miss Dana.

Lastly, I absolutely love that Cornerstone is a small Elkhorn business and that the owner who has put her heart and soul into something she is passionate about is there each and every day caring for her team and the kiddos. You can tell how much pride and love she has for her staff and for the families who attend Cornerstone. I cannot recommend Cornerstone Montessori enough!
