Our son is 6 and he has been attending the Denda Academy for about six months. We learned of "Denda" from a classmate who had a birthday party there. We did a week trial and our son really enjoyed doing martial arts [ninja turtles 😉 ] and we liked that he was learning the art of self defense. In addition, he is also learning life skills such as respect, focus, confidence, obedience (ex. listening the first time); just to name a few. He has also learned valuable techniques for 'stranger dangers' and different ways to handle 'bullying'.
The Denda Academy of Martial Arts has a well structured program with accredited and enthusiastic instructors. We are pleased we found this place and highly recommend!

My son start at 4yr, then pandemic and is now back at 6yr. He loves it. The instructors are great with the kids. Interactive, strict and playful. Allowing the kids to be themselves and still pushing appropriately.

Our kids both love Denda Academy. The instructors are great! Students learn discipline, discuss issues like self esteem and courtesy regularly as a group in class, learn to respect teachers and each other, and to work hard to achieve a goal.The quarterly belt graduation ceremonies are a highlight for our family that we look forward to. I highly recommend the Denda Academy to any kids wishing to learn a martial art.

Everyone in our family loves Denda! I’ve never seen so well suited instructors than here! The instructors are so funny and make the kids and parents laugh so much! It’s a perfect amount of enforcement and fun that is shown and needed! They teach valuable lessons everyday during class time that I think is so great to teach them! My son looks forward to his classes every week! We love Denda!

Denda Academy is a great place for kids to be : my older boy ( 2 nd degree black belt) went to Denda academy for 7 years and my younger son is currently in the academy in Advance class . Both love Denda, instructors are amazing : knowledgeable, kind, supportive, reliable. Kids learn not only martial arts techniques, but life time skills and staying fit and strong.
