My granddaughter trains here, and she loves it even though I'd only 1 hour a week. If we can afford it, she will be here every day ,the trainers are young, I don't know if that is a good thing ,there is an older instructor ,I think he trainers the children first steps I like him he is very sweet and patient with the children we can see, also the staff, very friendly and helpful ,we are paying, $200, for 8 classes, it's what my daughter tells me I just pay ,lol ,the seating area also you can see your love ones practice there are 2 levels first and second floor,

I cannot express how amazing Coach Sam is! She made my daughter feel comfortable and held her hand through the class. Wife and I appreciated how patient and caring she was with our little one.

Desert gym cats are excellent. Very clean and wel organized. Each program is tailored for each age group. The instructors are top notch. They encourage all students to participate and learn. The experience is great from the front desk to the instructor.

Desert Gymcats was a great experience for my cub! We came in and did a trial class in Coach Sams class and did not hesitate to hold my girls hand while also making sure everyone else is learning. Loved the whole experience and so did my daughter!

If you are looking for a gym to teach you to compete ... this is not the place. This place is obviously here as a corporation for the money and that is it. If you’re child is advanced in any aspect, do not waste your time. This place only works on a term bases. Meaning they only repeat classes with zero ambition to help your child to exceed. This also shows face with the crew they have running the classes. Many being not only young, but clearly void of experience. They run through a specified course not taking into consideration your child’s performance. Simply off of age alone. They will also claim they will have a “performance test“ which doesnt actually happen as the young coach of maybe 18 cannot even handle a class of two children will then come to the front desk and claim things that the video you have recorded and shown to the front desk worker does not aline with. When bringing things to light, they claim they’ve held your child’s hand through the whole class when you have videos proving otherwise and will immediately refunded you your money claiming you are the problem.

“I had to hold her hand the entire time”
Words from the seemingly young adult/teenage child conducting the last cubs class. Bringing to light the inadequacy of this establishment for a second time. The first was when they had a “substitute” come in for the class I paid for with zero heads up. That substitute being not only a young child herself, but obviously overwhelmed and unsure of what she was doing. (Assuming she’s related to one of the front desk women) The extremely young girl literally kept putting her hands to her head and looking around for help and reassurance with only three toddlers in her class. For the trial run into the cubs class, I was simply trying to understand the difference between classes when I initially approached the front desk. As I have had my daughter attend an entire class (terms 1-6) of springers and was referred to the cubs class by her coach. I was told springers is more floor work and cubs is more bars and beams. When attending the cubs class, it was an exact replica (if not further behind) of the springers class. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they immediately got defensive and kept telling me the age of my child as if I was unaware. Then I was repeatedly told the coach had to hold my daughters hand the entire time regardless of the videos I had just recorded. Among providing those videos and dealing with the front desk people, I received an email before I even made it home stating I was unable to speak to Lauren Rice as she was not in the office at the time yet was some how able to witness the entire interaction amongst the people working there and myself and had determined they were going to terminate my daughter’s classes and refund my money. If this isn’t a sign that they are money hunger with zero regards to your child’s growth in the gymnastics world, I can do nothing but pray for you..!

Great teachers , many classes depending on experience and age. They do a great job teaching children to be patient and to work for new goals. My son and daughter both love Coach Cesar.

My kids have been going here for 3 years. The teachers are great and my kids love going. They are very vigilant with covid-19 precautions so I feel very comfortable having the kids continue classes.

They used to be much better until recently, when they opened the other site. Most of their best teachers have gone to work at other gyms. We had to switch to a different gym, because they were not providing a lot of instruction during class time. The cheer class was not learning enough tumbling and it was focused primarily on routines.
