My husband and I did a lot of research on Aventon e-bikes and saw that our local Dive Outdoors shop carries them. My husband called to inquire about the e-bikes and got a lot of valuable information, they said we can come down and test ride them. Chris was very helpful and set us up to test ride a few different e-bikes. It was hard to select, because all of them are great !! We purchased two of the Level 2 e-bikes !!! Dive outdoors is a great shop for many outdoor activities, we will be buying all our accessories for our paddle boards and new e-bikes here. Support our local businesses!! Wow, what a nice store. Paddle, surf board, tubes, rentals, dive gear, they even have a guided lake day with an incredible surf boat the has room for 14 people. Everything you want or need for a day or week at the lake, they have it.

Really great people at this dive shop. Tyler and Scott were both super helpful with getting the proper gear for diving. Our scuba instructor, Chandler was extremely patient, he is easygoing and a great teacher. I highly recommend him as an instructor!

Such a gem! A modern, open-air shop with many options, across all types of water fun!
We rented an inflatable dock and it surpassed our expectations and usage out on the water! The rental process was easy enough and the staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

What a great experience for my family! My son and I were referred by some friends to get Scuba Certified by Dive Outdoors in Reffing,Ca. We live about an hour outside of Redding. I completed my recertification and my son was getting certified for the first time for Open Water. This was our first experience with this outfit and they did not disappoint! From meeting with employees and the owners, Dive Outdoors is a fantastic shop and our experience was the best!

Tyler was our first contact by phone who was really personable, knowlwdgeable, and professional. We did our online courses through PADI and then signed up for Dive Outdoors to finish the 2 Day open Water Dive Course. We were advised to come by the shop a day or two before we meet with our scheduled dive instructor to pick up the equipment that we rented for certification. This included all filled scuba tanks we would need for the weekend, regulators and gauges, bc's with weights, fins, and wet suits.
They have a great selection of masks ans snorkles to fit all shapes and sizes. The shop is well organized, clean, and has evrything you could want for a scuba diver. Great selection of inflatible stand up paddle boards to boot! It was advise to try on all the gear including wet suits to ensure a perfect fit. We were given the address where we to meet our instructor, and we were on our way.

Chandler Arellano. Great Instructor and he is also a veteran!

Day One: At location, Chandler met us out front to great us and helped us carry some equipment down to the pool. Chandler spent the morning wirh us going through the basics and taking his time to explain each piece of the equipment and it's functions. He is very thorough and patient.
After lunch break, we met back up at Whiskeytown Lake Visotors Center which is conveniently located about 15 min from Dive Outdoors. Once dressed and geared up we walked down to the Lake. After a review of what skills we were to practice we got to it! We did 2 dives After lunch and Chandler guided us and coached us like the true professional thst he is.

Day 2: Met back at the Lake for 2 more dives and the conditions were absolutely perfect. We had 2 incredible dives around and through the Curtain at Whiskeytown Lake and I have to admit, I was not expecting much as my only dives were ocean dives, but man this place that Chandler and the owners of Dive Outdoors choose for Scuba Certificates is really cool with surprising features and a fair amount of fish to see as well!

Here's the deal: If you live in the North State and you are looking to get scuba certified by true professionals, then look no further; these guys will take great care of you and your family and our experience was top notch! After we get back from our dive vacation, we will look forward to getting some more certificates in the future with Chandler and Dive Outdoors!

Really nice shop with a lot of available options. I am overall happy with my paddle board I purchased. Tyler was very helpful. I only gave 3 stars though because I am disappointed my purchase did not come with an electric pump. I have friends who have spent a similar amount or less on their paddle boards elsewhere and it came with an electric pump 🙁
