We have been at DDU for a year and my girls love it. This is our first studio and I have had 2 8-12yr old girls there in academy classes. We drive a little further than most for a few reasons.
1. They are affordable, most people I talk to that go to other studios pay double if not triple or more for classes/recital fees/ costumes etc. Fees are really straight forward I had one season I paid everything in advance and it was all laid out and done and I didn’t have to worry about it. Now we just do auto pay which also works fine. I think we get more than our moneys worth in instruction and overall value. I don’t love how much I spend on pictures but that is through a different company and they do a really good job. I’m sure pictures are just as expensive other places too and may not do as good of a job. They do capture my kids personality and talent well. I also understand pictures are optional so it’s my choice to spend money on them.
2. They are modest. The costumes are cute. I prefer my children to have a good portion of their bodies covered. My girls stomachs and butts have been covered and I appreciate that. They also have age appropriate dance moves and songs which I really like and appreciate.
3. I love the staff they are always kind and informative. The newsletters have all the information we need. The studio is always clean. The teachers are great with my kids. My kids are very different from each other and pay attention at different levels and put different amounts of effort and have different talents and they love it there. I love when they are more stern about rules that need to be followed too. My kids have been told multiple times no gum, dress for your class no pjs, and pay attention. They don’t love being called out on things but I love that they are learning discipline and to be respectful and how to follow rules especially when they don’t listen to me. I read the rules and expectations to my children with any class and have them agree before signing up so they also know what they are doing wrong before they do it. The teachers are fun and try to get to know the kids and what’s going on in their lives. My kids don’t go to school with any of the dancers there, we are in a different district, but they have wanted to support the company dancers and
They love to see them succeed. We love Jen, Heather, all the secretaries, all the teachers that have filled in and especially Kenzi, Karlee, and Alissa thanks for all you have done and continue to do.
4. I love that all the dancers have a chance to be in the parade for a very small fee. My kids haven’t wanted to walk the parades yet so just being on the float is enough and they get so excited about themes and the songs and dances.
5. They handle issues quickly. I was having a small issue with autopay that was quickly fixed when brought to Heather’s attention. They answer all my silly questions being a new dance mom and don’t act snotty or rude about it. They have it down and a solution for everything. I know there was an issue with a girl in my kids class once and the issue was taken care of and things were so much better afterward.

At the end of the day everyone will have a different experience than the next person. They take care of my kids and love them and put up with them at times too. They encourage growth and discipline. They support them.

I have heard of drama between studios. I think we are all adults and can discern between what or where is best for a job or where our kids will do best. There are plenty of studios out there but Diversity is right for us and I think my kids are receiving great instruction that will help them in their future.

We are so lucky to have found Diversity Dance, they are professional, fun and my girls love taking lessons there. Moving from another studio, we were very apprehensive, but we have absolutely loved Diversity. Jen the owner is so sweet and caring towards my girls. She truly cares about these girls and wants them to have the best experience with dance. Everything is well organized, the classes are high quality, and my girls look forward to going to class!
The teachers and staff truly care about the kids and everyone is very welcoming! We are so happy to be at Diversity Dance!!

DDU has been a big part of my family’s lives for over a decade and for good reason! The studio has always been a positive environment for all 3 of my children to learn and to grow. One of my favorite sights each year is during competition season. Each team forms a circle with their teacher where they listen, learn and are boosted with confidence. You can really tell there is a bond there, almost like family. We love Diversity!

We moved to Brigham City almost 2 years ago when we found Diversity. Honestly I can't imagine a better dance studio for my daughter. She had grown and improved so much thanks to the wonderful staff there. I am so grateful for everyone at Diversity. They truly have these kids best interests at heart. It is not just a studio, it is a family there. There is nothing but positivity and enlightening atmosphere. Everyone is included as one. There's no negativity. Only love and respect for the students and the families supporting them.

Changing studios is always hard. We changed to Diversity this year and I am so touched with how welcoming they have been to my girls. They have made them feel special, included them, lifted them up and been so kind. I love how the staff helps create a positive atmosphere, have high expectations, but help their students feel their worth and potential. Thank you so much for all the love!

I took from diversity for 10 years and am now getting the opportunity to teach. Having the owner be my teacher and boss has only shown me how much of a loving person she is. She and everyone else at the studio have ALWAYS made me feel so special and loved. I would not be the dancer or person I am today if it wasn’t for Diversity. They keep their prices fair and are modest in dancing, music and clothing. Such a positive place to be. 12/10 dance studio.
