My recent experience at this facility was highly disappointing and raises concerns about professionalism, equity, and efficiency in public service delivery. Despite scheduling an appointment in advance, we experienced a significant wait time, suggesting inefficiencies in the appointment and scheduling system.

The front desk staff communicated in a manner that was noticeably condescending and dismissive, which created an unwelcoming and uncomfortable environment. Unfortunately, the lack of courtesy and respect was consistent throughout our visit, which is concerning for a public service institution expected to treat all individuals equitably.

Of particular concern was the behavior of the female examiner who administered my teenager’s driving test. Rather than maintaining a professional and objective approach, the examiner asked unnecessary and inappropriate questions regarding my daughter’s appearance and the vehicle she drove, such as, “Is this your car?” These questions appeared to be based on unfounded assumptions and had no relevance to the evaluation of driving ability.

The outcome of the test seemed arbitrary and lacked clear justification, which raises concerns about the consistency and fairness of the evaluation process. It is unfortunate when a young person’s confidence and effort are met with what appears to be bias and unprofessionalism.

Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend seeking an alternative location for driver testing. The facility in Farmington, for example, has been noted by others for its professionalism and respectful treatment of test takers.

Second time being there. And it was pretty quick, first time was quicker and less people but first time I went in the middle of the week.. this time it was a Friday. But the employees were fast and friendly both times!

Drivers license division has moved to a new building that is shared with the highway patrol just south west of the old building. My experience in the new building was very good service was very quick and I was in and out within a few minutes! The new facility is very nice and very easy to navigate once you arrive. The only downfall was that Googles address was not updated yet so myself and a couple other people, showed up to the old location not knowing where the new building.

We were able to get in and out very quickly. The staff were friendly and professional, and were all so helpful getting my kid their first learner permit. It was a good expierience for them, and their new building is so nice. Make sure you go to the new building and not the old one in the old USU building.

I walked into the office and was greeted with 'Do you have an appointment?' No welcome, hello or how can we help. What if I had a question or needed directions? Same response to a gentleman who came in after me. Poor customer service
