Our child was a 504 student for seven years and successfully accessed and relied on accommodations for a specific learning disability. During my child's triennial review, we learned that many of the accommodations that had been accessible and relied on for several years would be removed. After four months of communicating with the school district's 504 team, we did not understand how our child would be accommodated, what exactly was no longer accessible and what would replace the accommodations that had been relied on for so many years.
