A beautiful historic house set in delightful grounds. Not a huge place but you could still get lost in the many rooms, wonderful in character. We were fortunate to have visited while the house was still trimmed up for Diwali.
Lots to look at and very interesting.
Lots of ladies working on tidying the gardens which made it feel very loved.
The cafe was lovely and clean and the food choices were very reasonable.
We had sandwiches and they were served in lovely fresh granary bread with a side of leaves, tomato and cucumber and a home made coleslaw. Delicious !

This National trust location is beautiful. Very peaceful and fun. Nice for some fresh air on a Sunday. It has a beautiful garden, and it happened to be apple harvest season and they were hosting a apple festival when I visited. They picked the apples from the garden, and we got to taste some, and then they showed us how to manually press apple juice. It was so delicious. Make sure to check their website as they host all types of events.
There are plenty of activities for young kids in the garden and there is a forest playground.
The house itself is also nice to walk around in. There are volunteers in every room who are friendly and explain everything about the rooms and the previous residents of East Riddlesden Hall.
There is a tea room, where I enjoyed a cappuccino and cheese scone, and a gift shop as well.

I visited in preparation for photographing a wedding. Lovely grounds surrounding the interesting and historic house. Lots of space for a picnic and mini locations for photography. Not overwhelmingly big but certainly one of my favourite places to visit. I also enjoyed tea and cakes in the upstairs Tearoom.

A quite enchanting house, built in the mid-17th century. The main building, which was once in residential use, is set with period furniture (not original to the building) to provide a narrative around its use.

The volunteers are wonderful. Friendly, and happy to provide details.

The house isn't the most engaging for kids, although there is a craft room at the back, some outdoor games, and a small playground.

I was lucky enough to be invited to a wedding at this exceptional venue. Also lucky that the weather was fine after a few days of grey drizzle. The barn is a great place for the ceremony, meal and music. Had a great time.

A small historic house and gardens. The friendly ducks are a great attraction for the little kiddies. Free parking and why not have a lovely tasting coffee and bite to eat in the fabulously relaxing and comfy coffee shop. The guides really bring the history of the place to life.

What a gem, a fantastic historic house. The staff were all amazing and very knowledgeable. The onsite cafe was great and had a fantastic assortment of food and snacks. The shop also was well stocked, I had hoped to get a Riddlesden mug for my collection, but I had to settle for a Yorkshire one instead.
